The photoshopped image was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. This image illustrates just how much work Facebook still needs to do to cleanse its platform from fake news, fake photos, and fake conspiracy theories.

Joe Biden has been working tirelessly since he assumed power to clean up the horseshit left behind by his lazy predecessor, and it would be understandable if he did take a nap in the Oval Office.

The description that accompanies the digitally manipulated image perfectly describes not Joe Biden, but Donald Trump. The disgraced president is a decrepit old grifter who worked maybe five hours a day on his scams when he wasn’t enjoying his executive time.

Clueless Arizona State Senator Wants to Name Highway After Donald Trump

Republican state Senator Wendy Rogers wants to name a major state highway in Arizona after former president Donald Trump.

It takes a lot of chutzpah to seek to name a highway after a disgraced twice impeached president. But at least she doesn’t want to name a school after the functionally-illiterate buffoon or a government building after the insurrectionist-in-chief.

But even naming a highway after Trump makes no sense, after all this is the president who seven times during his administration declared an infrastructure week, only to see those plans not come to fruition.

Rogers would be on safer ground naming an outhouse or a dumpster after Trump, that would stand a better chance of becoming law.

Trump was rejected by Arizona voters, and if the measure was put on the ballot, I’m persuaded it would fail to pass.

The bill has been assigned to the Senate Transportation Committee, and hopefully it won’t receive a hearing.

QAnon Movement Isn’t Dead, Cultists Believe Trump Will be Sworn in as President March 4, 2021

Donald Trump didn’t succeed in his crusade to overturn the will of the electorate and destroy our democracy and instead he is ensconced in Mar-a-Lago, uncharacteristically quiet after being banned from the most popular social media platforms.

Trump’s insurrection failed to stop the gears of government from certifying Joe Biden’s landslide win and Biden’s inauguration went off without a hitch on January 20, 2021.

Reality utterly demolished QAnon’s false conspiracy theories: Joe Biden is the president; Trump didn’t take down the “satanic deep state pedophile cabal” and the cultists wet dream of mass executions at Biden’s inauguration didn’t materialize.

After being totally discredited you’d think the QAnon movement would die, and the cultists would become atheists or join another cult. Believe it or not, the movement hasn’t completely died out, many followers are now claiming March 4, 2021 as the new significant date. They believe that’s the date when their false messiah will be sworn in as president.

Why March 4? Does it really matter? In a nutshell they believe a law was passed in 1871 secretly turning our democracy into a corporation, and therefore ever president after Ulysses S. Grant is illegitimate. In 1933 the inauguration date was changed from March 4 to January 20, and when Trump is inaugurated on March, he will become the only legitimate president since Grant. Total nonsense of course, but no crazier than their other conspiracy theories.

Like an apocalyptic cult that makes false prophecies after false prophecies about the End of the World, QAnon just keeps coming up with new conspiracy theories. QAnon will be with us for years to come, and it won’t stop poisoning our political system until Republican leaders stop fearing their base and publicly denounce it. Only then will it become as irrelevant as the Flat Earth Society.

Trump Will be Acquitted, But Impeachment Trial Not in Vain

The outcome of Donald Trump’s unprecedented second impeachment trial is preordained, as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west the disgraced former president will be acquitted for inciting a deadly insurrection at the Capitol even though the evidence against him is staggering.

The Democrats prosecuting Trump face an impossible task in persuading at least 17 Republican senators to convict Trump and bar him from any future office. A few days ago, forty-five Republican senators supported an initiative to block the second impeachment trial of Trump; you don’t have to be a constitutional scholar to recognize that’s a pretty good indication of how the final vote will play out.

Republicans are loath to cut the umbilical cord that ties the Man Baby to their party, even though the contaminated blood flowing from Trump to the GOP is killing their party.

Republican senators will be presented with visual and visceral evidence pointing to Trump’s manifest guilt. They will hear Trump in his own words inciting the crowd to march to the Capitol to prevent Congress from certifying the election results.

But the Republican jurors won’t consider facts and evidence in determining the innocence or guilt of Trump. Their main consideration will be not to render a verdict that will turn Trump’s fanatical base against them.

It’s reprehensible that Trump will be acquitted but the impeachment trial will not be in vain, the video footage of the trial will serve as a reminder to future generations of how close we came to losing our democracy. The two impeachments will be a permanent stain on Trump’s record, and a reminder that there were a few statesmen who did everything they could to hold Trump accountable for his many high crimes and misdemeanors.

Evangelicals Who Still Believe Trump Won Can Eat Shi* and Die

On Nov. 3, 2020, Trump campaign adviser Harlan Hill said he’d livestream himself eating his shoe if Joe Biden won the presidential election.

Don’t bother searching YouTube for a video of Hill eating his shoe, it doesn’t exist. When Mediate asked Hill if he planned to keep his word and eat his shoe, he answered, “Trump won.”

Hill wasn’t the only Republican politician who on Election Day and the weeks following insisted that Trump won, although they didn’t put their foot in their mouth by promising to eat a shoe if Biden won.

Thousands of evangelical ministers prophesied that Trump would win including Pat Robertson, Paula White-Cain, Greg Locke and Jeremiah Johnson. Only a handful have publicly apologized, any many still insist that Trump actually won.

The punishment specified for false prophets in the Old Testament was severe: “If any prophet dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or to speak in the name of other gods, that prophet must be put to death” (Deuteronomy 18:20).

I’m not as harsh as the Jehovah of the Old Testament but I do wish that clowns like Robertson and Locke who assured their followers that the Almighty Himself had told them that Trump was going to win would eat shit and die, or at least eat a pair of old sneakers.

Millions of QAnon cultists and evangelicals swallowed Trump’s Big Lie and still believe that Trump won and Joe Biden is an illegitimate president.

The Bible says that the devil is a liar and the father of lies. These Trump-supporting evangelicals have been deceived by one of the devil’s biggest lies, that Trump is a messiah figure who was cheated out of victory.

I don’t expect evangelicals to have an epiphany or to acknowledge reality by presenting them with facts and evidence, they are willfully blind. I simply write them off, only citizens who believe the truth and cherish the truth can join us who voted for Biden in building a more perfect union.

Good Riddance Donald and Melania Trump

To no one’s surprise President Donald Trump didn’t invite president-elect Joe Biden to the White House for the traditional Oval Office meeting between incoming and outgoing presidents. The narcissist-in-chief didn’t concede to Biden or congratulate him, even though the Democratic challenger won in an electoral college and popular vote landslide. The petulant man-child will become the first president in over a century not to attend the inauguration of his successor.

Post-election Trump abandoned his presidential responsibilities and dedicated himself to sabotaging the presidential transition and spreading the Big Lie that Biden stole the election. Therefore, nobody is surprised at Trump’s petulant, childish, spiteful and resentful behavior since his humiliating defeat.

Melania Trump will become the first modern first lady not to invite the woman who will replace her to the White House for a walk-through of the private living quarters. The “Be Best” first lady is as classy and gracious as her disgraced and defeated husband.

It’s not surprising that Trump is leaving office with the lowest approval rating of his presidency and that Melania will be exiting the White House with the lowest rating of her tenure as first lady.

Clearly Trump and his Slovenian mail-order bride have worn out their welcome. Goodbye and good riddance!

Clueless Ivanka Tweets Her Father’s ‘Accomplishments’

Fortunately, Hitler didn’t have any children, he didn’t leave a clueless daughter behind to tout her daddy’s accomplishments: he made Germany great again, he made the trains run on time, he cleansed society of weaklings and misfits …

Unfortunately, Trump has five children from three marriages: Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump with Ivana Trump; Tiffany Trump with Marla Maples; and Barron Trump with First Lady Melania Trump.

Don Jr and Eric Trump are as empty-headed and loquacious as their father and no doubt they will continue to brag about the president’s perceived accomplishments long after the Grim Reaper has taken him to hell.

Trump frequently brags about the physical attractiveness of Ivanka, and dad’s favorite girl has returned the favor by tweeting about his accomplishments, borrowing from a list from the White House website:

History may devote a few pages to the stock market’s resurgence during Trump’s administration, but volumes will be written about his catastrophic response to the coronavirus pandemic, his sexual assault of dozens of women, his two impeachments, his embrace of white nationalism, his ongoing promotion of conspiracy theories regarding the 2020 election, and his general all-around fuckery.

Ivanka, just shut the hell up. How I wish you were banished from social media, just like your father.

Franklin Graham Compares 10 Republicans Who Voted to Impeach Trump to Judas Iscariot

Rev. Franklin Graham, the head of the non-profit Samaritan’s Purse, has been a steadfast supporter of President Donald Trump. He has stood by the short-fingered vulgarian’s side throughout every credible allegation of sexual assault, every outrageous lie, every racist comment and every other toxic word and action that’s antithetical to the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

On January 6, 2020 millions of Americans were sickened when they witnessed Trump incite his followers to break down the doors of the Capitol and commit unspeakable crimes of murder, vandalism, theft and mayhem.  I was so outraged that I wrote several essays condemning the insurrection, wanton violence and obscenely unchristian behavior, but Graham mildly rebuked Trump, saying:

“I don’t think it was the president’s finest moment.”

I am hardly surprised that Graham likened the 10 Republican representatives who voted to impeach Trump to Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus Christ in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. Where we see profiles in courage, Graham sees apostates who fail to recognize Trump as a messianic figure who can do no wrong.

On “Fox and Friends Weekend”, Graham asserted that only God can address the problems that America currently faces. I can bullshit on that assertion! It’s up to all Americans, believers and unbelievers alike, to acknowledge and address the problems facing America.

And Trump is the biggest problem facing America, and I applaud the ten Republican congresspersons who voted to impeach him. Trump isn’t the only problem facing America, white evangelical ministers who support the fascist-in-chief are complicit in his crimes, and we must condemn them in no uncertain terms.

The MyPillow Guy Mike Lindell Still Hugging Trump as Warmly as He Hugs His Pillow

The business community isn’t waiting for the House of Representatives to impeach President Donald Trump, they have already rendered their verdict that the inciter-in-chief is an existential threat to our democracy and the rule of law, and they have determined that business can’t flourish under the rule of a tyrant.

The Trump brand is toxic and major corporations are severing their ties with the Trump organization. From JPMorgan Chase to Marriott, financial institutions have stopped donating to the GOP, and especially the congresspersons and senators who incited the MAGA crowd to desecrate the citadel of American democracy, the Capitol.

Mike Lindell, the CEO OF MyPillow never got the memo, he attended the January 6 pro-Trump rally before the insurrectionists marched to the Capitol, and he continues to vehemently defend the disgraced president.

Instead of cutting ties with the toxic president The MyPillow guy is steal offering the discount code “FightFor Trump”. This was the war cry of the Nazis, QAnon cultists, white evangelicals, militia members and other assorted riff-raff who attacked the Capitol and attempted to destroy our democracy.

Since the siege, Lindell has appeared on right-wing cable networks to spread the malicious and blatantly false lies that the pro-Trump rioters were “very peaceful” and that antifa members dressed up as MAGA faithful were responsible for the violence, vandalism and destruction.

Trump will be impeached by the House today, and hopefully he will be removed by the Senate in short order. But not only must we cut off the head of the snake, we must also exterminate all the rats like Lindell who worshiped the snake from the pit of hell.

Without Twitter Donald Trump is an Emasculated Despot

Donald Trump was a prolific poster on Twitter before he was elected president of the United States. As a private citizen he exploited the social media platform to express his racist views and to initiate online feuds with celebrities for publicity and his own perverse amusement.

Trump ramped up his abuse of Twitter when he became president, using it as his primary way of communicating with his base and as a tool to intimidate reluctant Republicans from dissenting from Trumpism.

On January 8, 2021 Twitter finally permanently banned his account, but only after he used it to whip his followers into a frenzy of violence and insurrection.

Trump insurrectionists desecrated the temple of American democracy: murdering a police officer, committing multiple acts of vandalism, burglary and violence, smearing feces on the walls and urinating on the halls, and hunting down, with the intent of executing, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence.

The defiled, desecrated and despoiled Capitol building is a metaphor for how Trump employed Twitter to destroy democracy and civil discourse.

Without access to his Twitter feed Trump has been rendered mute; he’s hiding out in the White House while members of his administration resign in protest and an increasing number Republican congressional leaders repudiate him.

Trump is a corrupt, racist, incompetent, amoral and authoritarian buffoon, and his administration would have ended in American carnage without Twitter as one of his most potent weapons to destroy democracy.

But his access to social media platforms to spread wild conspiracy theories, incite his cult-like followers and attack defenders of liberty and democracy was a turbo boost for his nihilist agenda.

Going forward social media sites must clamp down on twisted individuals, especially politicians, who use their lies to spread conspiracy theories, insurrection and racism. We must stop the rise of another Donald Trump.

Twitter Permanently Bans Trump and He’s Going Nuts

Donald Trump is an incontinent toddler with billions at his disposal to buy the glitziest and most expensive toys in the world; we’ve seen what his money can buy: limousines, mansions, private planes worth hundreds of millions …

But his favorite plaything is his Twitter machine: a perfect device for a lunatic with OCD. He can peck away with his disgusting little fingers on his smart phone at all hours of the day and night.

Nothing has brought more joy to the toddler-in-chief than his Twitter feed, he uses it to boast of his accomplishments, ridicule his enemies, and spread his message of racism and division.

Throughout his administration Trump has used Twitter to incite his base, and to intimidate reluctant Republicans into following his agenda.

Trump without Twitter is like a mobster without a gun, a televangelist without a Bible and an accountant without a calculator. After years of inciting violence and spreading hatred on his favorite social media platform, Twitter has finally banned Trump.

By all accounts Trump is boiling mad that his favorite toy has been taken away from him. He’s as irrational and angry as a toddler whose pacifier has been stripped from his mouth.

For the next 11 days until Joe Biden is inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States, Trump is the most dangerous person in the world. Will he push the red button out of boredom or a desire to bring the world down with him? God only knows what this maniac will do.

If Trump possessed a shred of dignity and self-awareness, he would immediately resign for the good of the country. We all know that’s not going to happen, therefore is incumbent on Congress to impeach him and remove him from office.

Trump Finally Admits He Lost the Election: Video

Two months after President Donald Trump suffered a humiliating landslide defeat to Joe Biden, after losing over 60 lawsuits challenging the election results, after a sustained campaign of sabotaging the transition process, after failing to persuade state legislators and election officials from the battleground states to nullify the election results, after convincing his cult-like followers that the election was stolen from him, after cajoling and urging his sycophants in Congress to echo his big lie of massive election fraud, and after his attempt to sabotage the process of Congress to count the electoral votes and certify Joe Biden as the winner blew up in his face, the inciter-in-chief finally admitted on Thursday that he had lost and would not serve a second term.

Trump made the admission not in a live televised address to a nation shell-shocked by the failed insurrection that he inspired, but in a two-minute video posted on Twitter.

“My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power”, said the monster who has neglected his presidential duties since his election defeat to ensure that the transition would be anything but smooth, orderly and seamless.

The narcissist couldn’t bring himself to formally concede or even name the statesman who defeated him, President-elect Joe Biden.

There are still 12 days left in Trump’s administration, and as sure as night follows day the restrained teleprompter Trump will switch back to the raging maniac before he finally leaves office.

Trump Must be Banned for Life from Twitter and Facebook

After a mob festooned with Trump regalia stormed the Capitol, waving a Confederate flags in the people’s house and committing multiple acts of vandalism and violence, Facebook and Twitter finally suspended President Donald Trump from posting on their respective social media platforms.

Trump’s treasonous act of inciting the MAGA crowd to lay siege to the Capitol was the final straw for the social media behemoths.

Trump was a social media menace before he became president, and he only ramped up his racist and seditious posts during his four-year term. For four interminable years Twitter and Facebook gave the inciter-in-chief free reign to spread his Gospel of violence, hatred and intolerance.

Facebook and Twitter allowed the traitor-in-chief to exploit their platforms to spread his conspiracy theories, blatant lies and racist garbage under the guise that political leaders enjoyed a special dispensation to run roughshod over their rules and standards because it was important for the public to know what they are thinking.

In hindsight it was a huge mistake for social media sites to allow Trump to post messages condoning, indeed inciting violence. This despicable excuse for a human being must be banned for life from Twitter, Facebook and every other social media platform.

Trump Pressures Pence to Save Him January 6

Ostensibly President Trump was campaigning Monday night on behalf of the two Georgia incumbent Republican senators whose defeat in runoff elections on Tuesday could cost the party its majority in the U.S. Senate.

In reality the Dalton rally was a typical MAGA shitshow where the Trump cultists basked in the presence of their false messiah. Trump vented about his humiliating loss for over an hour, and Sen. Kelly Loeffler made a cameo appearance and Sen. David Perdue stayed home because he’s in COVID quarantine.

Trump didn’t put Loeffler and Perdue in the spotlight, he only cares about himself and he wouldn’t lose any sleep if Republicans lose control of the Senate.

Trump’s attention was on his obsequious vice president, Mike Pence and his role on January 6 when Congress is set to certify the Electoral College confirming Joe Biden’s victory.  Trump amped up the pressure on his subordinate, telling the crowd:

“I hope Mike Pence comes through for us. I have to tell you. I hope that our great vice president, our great vice president, comes through for us. He’s a great guy. Of course, if he doesn’t come through, I won’t like him quite as much. No, Mike is a great guy.”

Congress will meet Jan. 6 and open sealed certificates from each state that contain a record of their electoral votes. Bipartisan representatives of both chambers will read the results out loud and do an official count. The president of the Senate, Vice President Mike Pence, will preside over the session and declare the winner.

Pence’s role is strictly ceremonial, he will simply announce the winner. The vice president isn’t tasked with determining if the state elections were properly administered, and he doesn’t have the power to override the decision of the public and declare Trump the winner. The American electorate has already decided in a landslide that Biden won, and the Electoral College has already certified Biden’s victory, and Pence’s role is to announce the obvious: Joe Biden is the 46th president of the United States.

What the hell does Trump expect Pence to do? To make a speech declaring that the electors are part of a deep state conspiracy to rob Trump of his victory? To exclaim that the electors are fired, and that God Almighty wants Trump to retain his throne?

I don’t think so. On Jan 6, 2021 more than 100 Republican members of the House of Representatives and 13 GOP senators will contest the results of the election. But it will all be sound and fury signifying nothing, and at the end of the day Joe Biden will be certified by Congress as the president of the United States.

Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve Party a Disaster: Trump Left Early But All the Freaks Showed Up Including Rudy Giuliani, Vanilla Ice, Berlin, Tiffany Trump and Jeanine Pirro

Guests at Mar-a-Lago paid upwards of $1,000 for the dubious privilege of bringing in the New Year basking in the presence of Donald Trump. But the stable genius made an early exit, for fear of turning in to a pumpkin at midnight? Hello, he’s already a scary looking pumpkin from the pit of hell.

No official explanation for the President’s early departure from Mar-a-Lago was given, but methinks he returned to the White House early to devote his remaining days to stealing the election from Joe Biden.

Disappointed guests were left to party with the likes of Trump’s personal lawyer and international laughing stock, Rudy Giuliani. How thrilling, who wouldn’t want to savor Rudy’s toxic farts and wipe brown sweat from his brow.

Daddy’s favorite girl Ivanka Trump wasn’t in attendance, but Tiffany Trump who the president couldn’t tell from a living room lamp was in the house.

Performers who were one-hit wonders decades ago,Vanilla Ice and Berlin, performed from the ballroom’s main stage. Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro, who was in attendance, probably threw her granny panties on the stage. Lucky Vanilla Ice, he hasn’t scored since 1990.

Personalities from the right-wing television network OANN were also in the house; I won’t bother to mention them by name because you wouldn’t recognize them.

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump mingled among the guests with their respective significant others, Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lara Trump. The thrill of a lifetime to dance the Electric Slide with Stepford Wives, Kimberly and Lara.

Ain’t no party like a Mar-a-Lago party, because a Mar-a-Lago party don’t stop until all the freaks have infected each other with COVID.

Dear God, I’m so glad I was nowhere near Mar-a-Lago on New Year’s Eve.

My New Year’s Resolution: Stop Writing About Trump After Joe Biden is Inaugurated

The slogan of my blog is “your home on the internet for anti-Trump essays”, and hundreds of my essays exposing the corruption, racism, incompetence and abuse of power of the president are posted on my site.

There is no politician less worthy of coverage than Donald Trump: every word that emanates from his sphincter-shaped mouth is sheer nonsense and every tweet that he posts is toxic.

The stable genius is inherently an inconsequential idiot and if he was the president of a local chapter of the KKK instead of the President of the United States nobody would care what he has to say about anything.

But by virtue of the fact that he’s the President of the United States and the Leader of the Free World, and his words and actions have consequences that effect the lives of millions in America and around the world, it’s imperative that journalists and bloggers cover the insignificant and inadequate little man.

I will continue to chronicle the chaos of the Trump administration until January 20, 2021, because until noon on that monumental day Trump still has the power to command the armed forces, grant pardons and he will still wield all the tremendous powers of the presidency.

For four years Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera has been a vocal member of the Fox New chorus singing the praises of the short-fingered vulgarian. Geraldo Rivera, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, the Fox and Friends trio of morons and other Fox News stars have defended, rationalized and praised the president’s racist rhetoric, childish behavior and undemocratic inclinations, and therefore are complicit in his crimes against our democracy.

Joe Biden won the election in an electoral college and popular vote landslide, and Rivera has urged Trump to acknowledge reality and “say goodbye with grace and dignity.”

Since his devastating and humiliating defeat Trump has been on a crusade to steal the election from Biden by any means necessary. Of course, the stable genius isn’t going to listen to a sycophant like Rivera who enabled his four years of fuckery.

For four years Trump has behaved like an entitled frat boy, and now in the last weeks of his presidency it’s no surprise he’s acting like a drunk frat boy on the last day of spring break.

Shit happened in 2016 when America elected a blatant racist, chronic liar and incompetent buffoon, shit did not happen in November 2020 when Americans came to their senses and kicked the wannabe dictator to the curb.

The waning days of the Trump regime encapsulates and epitomizes all the corrupt excess of his four years in power.

Did anyone really expect the unhinged narcissist to concede with humility and grace after suffering a popular vote and electoral college landslide defeat to Joe Biden?

Trump is ending his term with an orgy of assaults on democracy, denials of the coronavirus pandemic, groveling before Russia and pardons of political cronies and war criminals.

In a trademark bombshell Trump torpedoed the fragile bipartisan pandemic relief bill that took months to craft. The mammoth legislation was put together without any input from him, but that didn’t stop him from blowing it up with demands that are unacceptable to Republicans in the House and the Senate.

Trump inner circle is compromised of grifters, conspiracy theorists and sideshow freaks like Rudy Giuliani. Everyone else is excluded from his circle jerk, and they are wanking away with abandon and giving the middle finger to the American public.

Let’s hope and pray that Joe Biden will be able to clean and disinfect the unholy mess these wankers are leaving behind.

Kamala Harris Campaigns in Georgia: ‘2020 Ain’t Over Until Jan. 5’

Vice President-elect Kamala Harris campaigned in Georgia on Monday for Senate Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.

At an outdoor drive-in rally in Columbus, she uttered the all-time worst campaign slogan, “As far as I’m concerned 2020 ain’t over until January 5.” (the day of the Georgia Senate runoff elections.)

The year 2020 has been brutal: wildfires raged out of control in California, earthquakes shook up Puerto Rico, hurricanes devastated Florida and the gulf coast, civil unrest in cities from coast to coast, the coronavirus pandemic killed over 320,000 persons and the unrelenting disaster that is Donald Trump.

Sen. Harris, we understand that it’s crucial that the Democratic Senate hopefuls win if Joe Biden is going to have any chance to enact his agenda and undo the damage Trump has wreaked after four years in office, but as far as we’re concerned 2020 is over on December 31 at the stroke of midnight.

Even teetotalers and members of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers will get plastered on New Year’s Eve, we can’t wait for this cursed year to be over.

According to Sen. Harris’ logic 2020 won’t be over until January 20, 2021 when Joe Biden is inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States.

It is sheer insanity to extend 2020 by five days or 20 days; I’m getting my drink on December 31 to celebrate the end of the worst year in human history.

I love Sen. Harris and she was my choice for president, but I can understand why her presidential campaign failed to get off the ground. Her campaign slogans are simply awful.

Evangelicals Who Support Trump are Anathema

It’s estimated that there are more than 30,000 Christian denominations worldwide, and more than 1,200 in the United States alone. There is no prevailing view of what it means to be a Christian. Most of these Christian organizations don’t embrace an ecumenical spirit, and they hold a very parochial opinion of who is a real Christian.

Whether a Christian believes in the divinity of Jesus Christ or not, and whether a Christian believes in the infallibility of scripture or not, everyone can agree that the most direct and accurate description of Jesus come from the Gospels.

The basic thesis of the Gospels, indeed of all the Bible, can be distilled into the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Jesus taught his disciples that the basic imperative of Scripture is to love God and to love their neighbors as themselves.

Jesus did not have one word to say about homosexuality or abortion, therefore when evangelical Christians call any Christian who believes in marriage equality and choice evil, they are speaking from their own ignorance and prejudice and not from the authority of the Bible.

Jesus’ ministry consisted of preaching the Gospel (that he was the promised Messiah) and ministering to the material and spiritual needs of social outcasts and marginalized communities. Therefore, when evangelicals neglect to tend to the physical needs of the poor and disenfranchised and instead demonize them, they aren’t exhibiting Christian behavior.

When evangelicals idolize a short-fingered vulgarian whose rhetoric, behavior and actions are the antithesis of the loving and peaceful Jesus of the Gospels we can deduce that their racism and resentment has taken them down a road that’s a long way from true Christianity.

You don’t have to be a theologian to deduce that evangelicals who support Trump are anathema.

MAGA’s Last Hope: Trump Will Invoke Insurrection Act to Steal Election

Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in an electoral college and popular vote landslide, but almost two months after the election Trump still refuses to acknowledge reality and concede.

For weeks Trump and his legal team have engaged in a quixotic, hopeless and hapless legal battle to steal the election from Biden. They suffered multiple litigation loses culminating in the two Supreme Court decisions that summarily dismissed their meritless claims.

Concurrently Trump’s team waged an undemocratic campaign to convince Republican state officials in the battleground states to overturn the election. Unlike Republican congressional leaders these state officials demonstrated courage and integrity and refused to undermine our democracy by nullifying the results of a fair election.  

Trump’s most loyal sycophant and enabler, Attorney General William Barr, admitted there’s no evidence of massive voter fraud.

Now that Trump has failed to steal the election through the legal process and by intimidating state officials, his cult-like followers see violence as the only way to keep their false messiah in power.

Sidney Powell and Lin Wood, two prominent lawyers leading the efforts to steal the election are begging their boss to invoke the Insurrection Act, an act that allows the commander-in-chief to deploy troops to suppress domestic uprisings, not to overturn elections.

Others like Mike Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser are pleading with him to declare martial law to force Georgia and the other swing states that Biden won to hold do-over elections.

Social media platforms are saturated with calls for military action to upend the results of a free and fair election. The right-wing digital army is busy on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Parler, attempting to provoke the stable genius to resort to violence to keep this throne.

Believe it or not, the pleas to invoke the Insurrection Act or to declare martial law are even being heard in the pulpits of white evangelical churches. These white evangelicals who ostensibly are followers of the Prince of Peace believe in the Gospel of brute strength; the end justifies the means is their motto.

Unfortunately, all these legal shenanigans, intimidation of state officials and calls for the military to keep Trump in power won’t end until president-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated as the 46th president on January 20, 2021.

Hang tight my fellow Americans, our long national nightmare will soon be over.

White Evangelicals Silent After Black D.C Churches Vandalized At Pro Trump Rallies

Tens of thousands of white evangelicals marched in D.C in support of President Donald Trump’s campaign to steal the election from Joe Biden. After the political cum religious rallies four downtown churches were vandalized, and evangelicals have failed to condemn the violence or express solidarity with the congregations of the vandalized houses of worship.

Two of the damaged churches were historically Black churches where vandals ripped down Black Lives Matter banners. These churches have a long history of speaking out against social injustice, a religious stance that’s anathema to the white evangelicals who fervently support their racist false messiah.

The Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church reported that vandals slashed a banner printed with colors supporting LGBTQ rights, and we all know evangelicals are loathe to show any empathy for gays and lesbians.

Evangelicals get their panties into a twist when white churches are vandalized, and they speak long sermons on behalf of fetuses, but it seems they have taken a vow of silence when it comes to condemning violence against gays and people of color, even when they happen to be fellow Christians.

It’s crystal clear that Gay lives don’t matter and Black lives don’t matter to white evangelicals. They don’t have a place at the table, a seat in the pews or a place in line at the voting polls as far as white evangelicals are concerned.

The moral silence is stupefying and an affront to the Almighty and to the Gospel they claim to believe.

MyPillow Guy Mike Lindell Turns Against Fox News and Endorses Big Lie That Election Was Stolen From Trump

Mike Lindell is an American entrepreneur with the ethics of B.T Barnum who employs the infomercial aesthetic to hawk his overpriced pillows to the geriatric demographics of The Fox News Channel knowing they are demented enough to buy his fluffy pillows at inflated prices.

The CEO of MyPillow spoke to a crowd at a pro-Trump march in D.C on Saturday and singled out Fox News Channel as being in on a major conspiracy to the steal the election from Donald Trump. “This fraud is real,” he said. “It’s of epic proportions that this election was stolen.”

Let me channel Captain Obvious and point out that the real winner in a popular vote and Electoral College landslide was Joe Biden.

The MyPillow schmuck concluded his remarks by prophesying that the fraud will be proven, and that Trump will still be elected.

Then he suggested that we might already be in the Biblical “End Times”, a remark that resonated with the white evangelical audience.

Lindell bit the hand that feeds him, because Pro-Trump fanatics have migrated from Fox News to even more far-right cable news networks like Newsmax and OANN. Most Fox News anchors and reporters have explicitly or at least tacitly acknowledged that Joe Biden is president-elect, and that’s anathema to Trump’s cult-like followers who live in an alternate reality where their messiah won in a landslide.

Trump is a master grifter and he realizes that he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of stealing the election from Biden; he is using the “Stop the Steal” campaign to raise hundreds of millions he can use for a 2024 presidential run and to keep his name in the news.

Lindell isn’t an idiot and he knows damn well that the massive fraud allegation is hogwash, he is simply pandering to the brainwashing evangelicals who buy his pillows.

White evangelicals will sleep soundly in their MyPillow pillows under the delusion that God will somehow intervene to expose Biden as a fraud and that their hero Trump will be sworn in again as president of the United States.

At least until January 20, 2021 when the president-elect Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States.

Who Will be Named ‘Time Person of the Year’: Biden, Trump, Fauci or Movement for Racial Justice?

Trump has abdicated his responsibilities as president of the United States, and is wasting away the last days of his moribund administration sulking and trying to stage a coup in broad daylight.

But I predict he will stop tweeting his insane conspiracy theories about a rigged election long enough to watch NBC News at 10 p.m. tonight when TIME will reveal its 2020 “Person of the Year.”

As much as Trump rails against the mainstream news he seeks their validation. Last year Trump was furious when TIME named 16-year-old environmentalist activist Greta Thunberg as “Person of the Year” instead of the man-baby climate change-denying commander-in-chief.

Each year the magazine selects an individual, group or organization who has “greatly impacted the country and the world during the calendar year”, for good or ill.

This year’s finalists are: President-elect Joe Biden, the movement for racial justice, Dr. Anthony Fauci and front-line workers, and Donald Trump.

The movement for racial justice has brought the issues of police brutality against minorities, criminal-justice reform and systemic racism to the forefront, but I don’t think it will win.

Joe Biden is certainly deserving of the recognition; his campaign was given the last rites after his horrible showing in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada, but the moderate septuagenarian was resurrected in South Carolina by Rep. Jim Clyburn’s endorsement and he went on to win the Democratic presidential nomination and capture the White House. But if Time anoints him as “Person of the Year”, Trump might lose it completely and nuke North Korea, and Time doesn’t want to be responsible for ushering in Armageddon.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has spoken truth to power and told America the unvarnished truth about the pandemic, and I predict he will be rewarded for putting science ahead of servility and integrity ahead of expediency.
