Trump and MAGA Faithful Incapable of Empathy

The Old Testament God was vengeful, jealous, and quick to wrath, and his chosen people lived by the code of exacting a tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye. If Jehovah ordered the Israelites to commit genocide against the peoples who were living in the promised land, you could not expect them to express empathy for foreigners.

The God of the New Testament is forgiving, tolerant and merciful, and his followers lived by the Golden Rule.

MAGA evangelicals disdain Jesus as woke and weak, and they embrace the macho deity of the Old Testament who didn’t flinch from drowning every man, woman, and child in the world, except for Noah and his incestuous family.

Trump is a sociopath incapable of empathy, and in the eyes of his supporters, the sociopathy of their orange messiah is superior to the empathy of Jesus.

They have no empathy for immigrants who are fleeing poverty and persecution in their homelands and seeking freedom and dignity in America. They have no empathy for the LGBTQ community who are not seeking any special rights, but seeking equality in the church, workplace and in the public square. They have no sympathy for Blacks, Latinos and other racial minorities who are struggling to make America a more perfect union. They have no empathy for anyone who doesn’t look like them.

I’d rather follow the Golden Rule than subscribe to the “they who have the gold make the rules” philosophy of the Oligarchs and their MAGA useful idiots.

I am Disgusted by Blue Origin’s All-Female Crew Joy Ride

The broadcast and cable news networks extended saturation coverage to the Blue Origin all female flight crew of pop star Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey’s BFF Gayle King, Jeff Bezos’ fiancé Lauren Sanchez, social entrepreneur Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and honest to goodness rocket scientist Aisha Bowe. The inclusion of Bowe did not give any legitimacy to this 11-minute fantasy flight, they might as well have sent six Hooter girls to space.

Blue Origin proudly declared that the celebrity crew had officially become astronauts. However, according to rules issued by the FAA, Perry and her fellow passengers are not really astronauts at all. They are technically classified as “space travelers,” in fact they are just glorified space cadets.

This was not an example of female empowerment, but another glaring example of our obsession with celebrity culture. It appears that most of the preparation for this joy ride was spent lathering on the make-up.

The millions wasted on this made-for-TV event should have been used to pay for university scholarships for dozens of financially needy women.

Katy Perry melodramatically kissed the ground after returning from her flight. Really? Anybody who thinks this circus deserved saturation media coverage can kiss my ass.

Trump Snubs RFK Jr.’s Wife at UFC Match

“Donald Trump appeared to awkwardly leave Cheryl Hines hanging when she reached out to shake hands with him at a UFC 314 match.

The president warmly greeted Hines’s husband, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, who was standing next to her. But as Hines prepared to shake Trump’s hand, he walked straight past her.”

UFC matches are a testosterone fueled environment where most of the females present are trophy wives or ring girls with big boobs and bootylicious butts.

Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the misogynist-in-chief Donald Trump disrespected Cheryl Hines the wife of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

Hines made no attempt to conceal her disappointment as she frowned, pouted, and turned to her husband looking for empathy, he sheepishly smiled back at her.

Was she really expecting her husband to express shock or anger at the disrespect heaped on her by the adjudicated rapist? Trump loves to attack the spouses of his political enemies, just ask Ted Cruz.

Why does Trump have such unbridled animosity for Hines? Well, Kennedy has acknowledged that his wife, a liberal Democrat, was uncomfortable with his decision to support Trump after suspending his own independent presidential campaign.

Hines didn’t leave her husband because he has a worm in his brain, or due to his penchant for dumping dead bears in Central Park but embracing Trump and not seeming to object when he humiliated her should be the last straw.

Vanessa Horabuena Speed Paints a Portrait of Donald Trump

A speed painter is an “artist” who creates a painting within a limited timeframe, usually only a few minutes. These performers will never be mistaken for a Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt or a Picasso, but they possess rudimentary artistic skills that impress drunken yokels. They’re usually hired as opening acts for 2nd rate standup comics, lounge singers, strippers or as featured guests at a Trump event.

Vanessa Horabuena is a Christian worship leader, life coach, speed painter and Trump fanatic who was hired to perform a live painting of Trump at the Liberty Ball, a presidential inaugural ball.

Horabuena looked like she was possessed by a demon or maybe she was high on amphetamines as she created her macabre portrait of her orange messiah.

She was accompanied by religious worship music, and the cultists were raising their hands in praise of Jesus (Trump?).

The speed painting of the monster who is an embodiment of the antichrist is a literal and metaphorical picture of idolatry.

As a sardonic tribute to the demented speed painter, I drafted this short essay in about five minutes, hopefully it will serve as a counterbalance to her blasphemous and idolatrous work.

LGBTQ Conversion Therapy Now Banned in Sydney, Australia

“Dangerous and damaging LGBTQ+ conversion practices will be banned from today.

The Conversion Practices Ban Act 2024 makes conversion practices, which can include ‘conversion therapy’ and suppression practices, a crime punishable by up to five years imprisonment.

In America Donald Trump and his evangelical MAGA cult have declared war on the LGBTQ community; they are trying to erase sexual minorities from the federal government, education system and the media.

But down under, specifically in Sydney and New South Wales, things are right side up. Christians and other Neanderthals can face five years in prison and fines up to $1000,000 for offering counseling to or praying for LGBTQ individuals.

This can include any type of psychological or religious pressure, otherwise known as brainwashing. It has always been morally unethical, but now it is illegal to bully LGBTQ people to suppress their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Imagine if the shoe were on the other foot: A heterosexual boy is kidnapped by brainwashing experts. He’s shown pictures of scantily clad female celebrities, and he is electrically shocked if he gets an erection. He won’t be released from the reeducation camp until he expresses a romantic interest in other boys.

Evangelicals who think that LGBTQ individuals are depraved sinners, are on the wrong side of history, hermeneutically unsound, anti-science and plain ignorant.

The Jesus of the Gospels, who was a bachelor who surrounded himself with male disciples and never once mentioned homosexuality would lambaste these anti-gay evangelicals as hell bound evildoers.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is the quintessential female face of the MAGA Trump administration: deer in the headlights stare, heavy eye makeup, pronounced facial contour, and blond locks befitting a Nazi Queen.

Of course, she usually wears the requisite MAGA accessory: a dangling ostentatious gold cross dangling from her neck.

Leavitt taking a selfie while wearing a black T-shirt with white writing that reads, “Make America Blond Again”, is the ultimate dumb blond joke. Leavitt’s blank stare indicates that she is oblivious to the racist connotations of her controversial shirt.

Her T-Shirt is as offensive as a red MAGA cap. When exactly was America great for Blacks, Latinos or Native Americans? The further back we go back in time the more of a dystopian nightmare life in America was for racial, sexual, and religious minorities.

We need to make America great by making White Nationalist Christian bimbos too ashamed and afraid to wear blatantly racist attire.

Elon Musk Humiliates Himself Trying to Buy Wisconsin Supreme Court

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, subscribes to the philosophy that “he who dies with the most toys wins.” Musk bought Tesla and turned it into the most successful EV company in the world before his affinity for extremist rightwing political parties in Europe and his bromance with Donald Trump sent Tesla shares plummeting.

He bought Twitter and turned the world’s most successful micro-blogging into a toxic site infested with racists and conspiracy theorists. Advertisers, corporations, and liberals deserted the site, nobody wants to be associated with his malignant social media platform.

Musk’s most controversial purchase was Trump, he poured more than a quarter of a billion dollars into the sociopath’s presidential campaign. Trump rewarded Musk by making him co-president and giving him free rein to slash the federal budget. Musk’s purchase of Trump is destined to be a bigger disaster than Twitter and Tesla combined.

After buying the American presidency Musk was under the delusion that there wasn’t anything he couldn’t buy. He tried to buy Wisconsin’s democracy to corrupt Wisconsin’s judiciary. The billionaire did everything in his power to buy a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat: he poured $20 million into the race, paid voters $100 to sign a petition against “activist judges” and gave out three $1million checks to voters.

But Wisconsin voters told Musk “You can’t buy our Supreme Court.” Liberal Judge Susan Crawford crushed Musk’s candidate, Judge Brad Schimel.

Hopefully, Musk’s humiliation will cause him to exit politics and concentrate on saving Tesla.

After Trump Meets with Laura Loomer, Security Officials get Loomered

Donald Trump has been urged to fire Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other top security officials by influential pundits and top tier politicians following the devastating leak of extremely sensitive war plans. But Trump dismisses SignalGate as fake news and a witch hunt, and he refuses to fire or even discipline anyone involved in the debacle.

But after one 30-minute meeting with Laura Loomer, a MAGA influencer who is batshit crazy, he fired have a dozen security officials because she accused them of being disloyal neo-cons, and not due to their incompetence that endangered the lives of military personnel.

Loomer, a MAGA firebreather, has a penchant for posting Islamophobic and anti-immigrant posts on social media and she infamously made vile racist attacks against Kamala Harris. Naturally, she has the ear of the racist-in chief Donald Trump, and he values her opinion even though she is not officially a member of his administration.

Loomer is so notorious for ambush-style interviews that her surname has become a verb; politicians rarely agree to be interviewed by her for fear of “getting Loomered.”

The wrong individuals got Loomered, instead of low-level security officials, it should have Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Security Adviser Mike Walz who got Loomered.

Of course, it’s Trump who should be fired for surrounding himself with incompetent sycophants and crazy conspiracy theorists who care more about fluffing their messiah and furthering their own careers than they do about defending the rule of law and preserving our democracy.

Karoline Leavitt says SignalGate Case Closed

When White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stands behind the podium that bears the presidential seal, she usually has a large cross dangling from her neck. She is sending a signal to the assembled reporters and to television viewers that she is representing President Donald Trump, her orange messiah.

During her Monday press briefing Leavitt was asked for an update on any review to the SignalGate debacle that witnessed a reporter accidentally added to a group chat in which top Trump officials discussed a war strike on Yemen.

“This case has been closed here at the White House, as far as we are concerned,” she snapped. “There have been steps made to ensure that something like that can obviously never happen again.”

“Case closed”. The message could not be any clearer, the Trump administration is done talking about the group war chat, and everyone else should fall in line, including reporters.

The case has never been opened, and the administration has not explicitly stated what steps, if any, have been taken to ensure that such a colossal mistake will never happen again.

Case not closed. Most of the White House correspondents are not members of the cult, and their job is to hold regime officials accountable for their mistakes and lapses in judgment.

SignalGate is unacceptable. Reporters must demand answers. Citizens must demand accountability. We must hold the Trump administration accountable for their gross incompetence and glaring arrogance that is making our country less safe, and our democracy more fragile.
