Trump Begs for Campaign Donations as Hurricane Ian Destroys Florida

Trump

There is no shame in Donald Trump’s game. Armed with the knowledge that his followers will still worship him as the Messiah if he shoots a little old lady trying to cross 5th avenue in New York City, he never loses an opportunity to shear his sheep.

As Ian, the hurricane of the century, (which thanks to climate change is now a yearly event), battered Florida and plunged the state into darkness he made an urgent appeal from his Mar-a-Lago home for the fellow residents of the Sunshine State to give donations to the Red Cross.

I kid. Midway through Hurricane Ian’s path of destruction across Florida, Trump asked his supporters to donate to his presidential bid. After all, when a hurricane has ripped the roof of your house, and flooded the first floor, the first thought on your mind is, “I really need to donate money to billionaire Trump’s presidential campaign.”

Riding out the storm at his Mar-A-Lago palatial estate, Trump posted a video asking the public to contribute:

“We have a major fundraising deadline coming up. There has never been a time like this, our country has never been so disrespected, or so low, certainly in the minds of leaders all over the world.”

There’s a sucker born every minute, and there’s a new Trump supporter born as a pimple in his fat ass every second, and I have no doubt that his video will elicit donations.

Every natural disaster brings out the best in some people, and the worst in moral reprobates like Donald Trump.

Trump Has Always Been a Racist, He Will Die a Racist

Trump

“Former President Donald Trump mistook a group of Democratic congressional staffers for waitstaff and directed them to serve dinner during the early years of his presidency, according to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman’s new book, ‘Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America.’”

BusinessInsider.com

It was a natural reflex for the racist president to assume that African American individuals at a White House dinner must be waitstaff, he sees all people of color as subservient to white people.

After all, in his golf resorts, Trump organization board meetings, and social gatherings blacks were relegated to menial positions. They were there to serve, and not to interact in any meaningful way with white folks.

Trump had a handful of powerful blacks in his administration, but they were tokens like South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and doctor Ben Carson who expressed their subservience to their master by flashing ingratiating Uncle Tom smiles.

If the orange racist regains power he will once again relegate people of color to inferior positions in his administration, an he will only seek the welfare and advancement of the white electorate that vote him to power. Trump has been a racist all of his life and he will die a racist. Shame on any person of color that is considering voting for him.

Trump Ran for President Because He Wanted to Become World Famous

Trump

“Donald Trump suggested that the reason he wanted to be president was because ‘nobody knows’ his ‘rich friends,’ according to an adapted excerpt from Maggie Haberman’s new book.

‘The question I get asked more than any other question: ‘If you had it to do again, would you have done it?’ Mr. Trump told her about running.

‘The answer is, yeah, I think so. Because here’s the way I look at it. I have so many rich friends and nobody knows who they are.’”

Independent

Donald Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama sought the presidency because he wanted to be a transformational leader, who would usher America into a post-racial era, make affordable healthcare available to all Americans, and unite red states and blue states into one America: red, white and blue.

Most candidates cite lofty goals like ending world hunger, fighting for human rights or seeking world peace, when they are asked why they are running for president.

Not Trump, he implied that he ran for president to become even more famous. It wasn’t enough that he was already famous for being a reality TV host, tabloid star, and real estate developer, he lusted for the world fame that comes with being the President of the United States and Leader of the Free World.

Trump admires wealth and fame, most of his friends were New York business magnates, but nobody outside of the business world knew who they were. Trump wanted to be filthy rich and insanely wealthy, so he ran for president.

Trump’s strongest backers, Republicans an evangelicals should never forget that he doesn’t care about Republican policies or evangelical doctrines, he cares only about wealth and fame.

Shia LaBeouf’s Conversion to Catholicism Has Exposed His Narcissism

Shia LaBeouf

“LaBeouf was at his mother’s bedside in Los Angeles when she passed, and he has some interesting/terrifying/evangelical thoughts about her passing.

‘My mother was full of fear in her last moments: asking the doctor what this tube was and what that machine did. She was frantic. She was deeply interested in God and spirituality her whole life, but she didn’t know him. Hence her last moments. Her greatest gift to me was to promote, in her dying, the necessity of a relationship with God. Not an interest, not just a belief, but a relationship built on proof as tangible as a hug. Her last gift to me was the ultimate persuasion for faith. She was a good girl. She was loved by many and known by too few. God bless you, Momma.’”

Pajiba.Com

Shia LaBeouf is a recent covert to Catholicism, but the zeal of a new convert doesn’t excuse his dispassionate and disturbing perspective on the death of his mother.

It’s understandable that an octogenarian would be apprehensive, indeed fearful, of the machinery that is keeping her alive on her death bed. There is no sin in being afraid of death or the pain that often accompanies death. LaBeouf is way off base implicitly criticizing his mother for being fearful in her last moments.

The deeply religious, whether they’re Catholics or evangelicals are deeply narcissistic, they view everything through a prism of how it affects their walk with God.

Had I been present at my mom’s deathbed, I would have done anything in my power to alleviate her physical and emotional suffering, and I would have been contemplating all the good that she had done in her life, especially all the good that she had done for me.

This narcissistic actor is essentially saying, “My mom’s agonizing death is a gift from God, He is showing me how unbelievers die in misery. I’m so glad I have a relationship with Him.”

Catholics, and especially evangelicals, are so obsessed with their relationship with Jesus Christ, whom they have never seen, that they neglect relationships with their friends and family whom they see every blessed day.

Damn Evangelicals and Their Gospel of Donald Trump

Trump

“For the first time, a biennial survey has found that most Evangelical Christians in the United States believe that worshiping alone or only with one’s family can be a valid substitute for going to church.”

Christian Post

“Study to show thyself approved to God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2Timothy 2:15

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:25

Roman Catholics look to the Pope as the final arbiter for doctrinal matters and evangelicals look to the Bible as the supreme authority.

Scripture teaches that believers should study the Bible to divine God’s will in all matters and that they should not forsake meeting together.

But since the advent of their new messiah, Donald Trump, evangelicals have strayed away from the Bible and the local church, and instead they find truth in fringe conspiracy-themed web sites and seek direction from internet-based prophets who preach the Gospel according to Donald Trump.

As a consequence, evangelicals no longer preach the Gospel that Jesus Saves, but the execrable message that Donald Trump will make America great by destroying liberal democracy and setting up a white Christian nationalist theocracy.

In a Christian lexicon Trump and his evangelical disciples are an abomination, and in the vernacular Trump and his followers are asshole racists who don’t know shit about democracy or the Bible.

Drama Queen Donald Trump Makes Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral All About Him

Drama Queen Trump

“Donald Trump claimed Monday that President Joe Biden’s seating in the 14th row at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral reflected a lack of respect for him ― and that Trump would have gotten a better spot ‘if I were president.’

‘This is what’s happened to America in just two short years,’ Trump, who wasn’t invited to the queen’s funeral, wrote on his social media platform with an image of Biden being seated.”

Yahoo News

Queen Elizabeth’s funeral received saturation coverage on the cable news networks and even the broadcast stations, and drama queen Donald Trump was beside himself with envy, so he inserted himself into the story by mocking President Joe Biden’s seating in the 14th row at her funeral.

It should be noted that a reason why the media went crazy covering the queen’s funeral is because they sensed that the public needed a respite from the bad news of the day, most of it generated by Trump.

The reason why Biden was relegated to the 14th row is because Commonwealth leaders took precedence in terms of seating.

Trump didn’t receive an invitation to the funeral, and even if the queen had died while he was in office, I doubt he would have received one.

Nobody cares what Trump thinks about anything, except his cult-like followers.

‘Blacks for Trump’ are Useful Idiots

Blacks for Trump

MAGA rallies are racist Trumpapalooza festivals that attracts white militias, white nationalists, KKK members, white evangelicals, hillbillies and mobile park rednecks, the common denominator being the color of their skin.

When the camera sweeps over the audience at a MAGA rally I always see a sea of white faces, but at almost every Trump rally “Blacks for Trump” are strategically placed right behind Trump.

The Blacks for Trump are Uncle Toms, or stated in a more politically correct way, useful idiots. Voting for Donald Trump while Black is a crime against your own race, and being a member of Blacks for Trump and allowing yourself to be used by him is an unforgiveable sin.

Blacks for Trump in 2022 is as incongruous as Negroes for George Wallace in 1968 when the notorious segregationist ran for president.

In the photo at the top of this page members of the racist “Proud Boys’ are posing with members of “Blacks for Trump” while flashing white power symbols. This picture captures the stupidity of Blacks for Trump.

Trump is Now Openly Endorsing QAnon Conspiracy Theories

Trump

QAnon is a set of internet conspiracy theories, it’s main tenet is that the world is run by a cabal of leftist-leaning Satan-worshipping pedophiles. QAnon cultists believe that this cabal includes top Democrats like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and of course bogeyman George Soros who’s prominent in many right-wing conspiracy theories.

QAnon isn’t a fringe cult that can be safely dismissed, over a quarter of Republicans believe in its central views.

During his tenure Donald Trump frequently retweeted QAnon tweets, but insisted that he hadn’t heard much about the movement, “other that I understand they like me very much”.

Trump is a narcissist who wishes he ran the world, of course he is intimately familiar with a cult that considers him a messiah figure.

Trump is now openly embracing QAnon, on his Truth Social platform, he reposted an image of himself wearing a Q lapel pin overlaid with the words “The Storm is Coming.”

In the Gospel according to QAnon “The Storm” refers to the Orange Messiah’s final victory, when he will regain power and mete out judgment against his political enemies, the most prominent ones executed, live on television. Think of The Storm as the QAnon equivalent of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Trump is now overtly endorsing QAnon because he’s facing possible indictments on many fronts including obstructing the vote count in Congress, conspiring to defraud the US by overturning the election results, and stealing classified documents. And he needs the QAnon shock troops to distract and destroy his enemies.

If Trump runs in 2024 and he loses again, he will need his QAnon cultists to stage another coup attempt.

It’s not merely amusing or curious that Trump is endorsing QAnon beliefs, it’s deeply troubling and it should motivate us to do everything in our power to support the 2024 Democratic nominee, whether it’s Joe Biden or anyone else.

Eric Trump: ‘No One Has Done More for Christianity than Donald Trump’

Donald Trump

“There’s no one who’s done more for Christianity than Donald Trump. No one.”

So declared former President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump at Freedom Fest in Morningview, Ky., Saturday, Sept. 10.

Donald Trump who attends church only on Easter and Christmas, and who has a penchant for holding the Bible upside down, and whose words and deeds are the antithesis of the teachings of Scripture, has indeed done a lot for Christianity.

The orange messiah has exposed the true nature of the evangelical church in America. It’s not a religious or spiritual movement, but a political and social endeavor.

White evangelicals don’t care about winning souls for Christ, they are too preoccupied with winning votes for Trump and his acolytes. They don’t care about turning this nation back to the moral teachings of the Bible, they’re concerned only with turning our fragile democracy into a White Christian Nationalist theocracy.

Trump has done a great service for true Christianity by exposing the xenophobia, racism, misogyny, homophobia and just plain ugliness of evangelical Christianity.

Evangelicals are as greedy, petty, vicious, and racist as their new savior, Donald Trump. I concur with Eric Trump, no one has done more for Christianity than Donald Trump. Thank you, Trump, for showing us the wickedness of evangelical Christianity.

Chick-fil-A’s Racist Tweet

Chick-fil-A

A black Twitter user tweeted at Chick-fil-A: “grilled spicy deluxe but still noooo spicy nuggets”

The official Twitter account for Chick-fil-A responded:

“Your community will be the first to know if spicy items are added to the permanent menu, Don!”

Neither the fast-food giant nor I are assuming that Don is black, the @KANYEISMYDAD account features a profile pic of a black man. Speaking only for myself as a non-black person, I would never name my Twitter account “KANYEISMYDAD”, although I might use the “KANYEISMYUNCLETOM” handle.

The fast-food behemoth shouldn’t feed into the pervasive racial stereotype that black folks love them some spicy fried chicken,

Don may love spicy friend chicken and Kanye West, but not every black person loves fried spicy chicken, and a hell of a lot of African American hate the Trump-loving rapper.

Chick-fil-A should offer a fulsome apology to African Americans for tweeting “your community.” They should have tweeted:

Don, we feel you, and you will be the first to know if spicy items are added to the permanent menu.

Aaron Rodgers is Right: Trump Should Be a Fuc*ing Man and Admit He Lost

Trump

Future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers is a king on the gridiron, but he’s a court jester off the field, making a fool of himself as a conservative lightning rod. He frequently complains about the “woke mob” on the Pat McAfee Show and on Joe Rogan’s podcast, and he’s one of the most infamous unvaccinated athletes.

However, on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast he finally uttered an intelligent thought. He made his thoughts on former President Donald Trump continuing to claim he won the 2002 election crystal clear:

“You lose sometimes. Be a fucking man and just own up like every other president has ever done.”

Rodgers is one the greatest quarterbacks in history, second only to Tom Brady, but he has suffered his share of tough losses in his career: two NFC title game losses and the upset loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs last season.

He knows what is means to pick yourself up after a devastating loss, and not make any excuses. Rodgers is spot on: Donald Trump should man up, put on his big boy diapers and finally admit that he lost in an electoral college and popular vote landslide to Joe Biden.

Cynical Republican Candidates Shift Position on Abortion as General Election Approaches

Abortion

For decades evangelicals were on a mission from God to overturn Roe v Wade, and when the Supreme Court in the Dobbs vs. Jackson ruling held that abortion was not a protected right under the Constitution, overturning Roe, they erupted in jubilation.

For decades Republican politicians have railed against abortion in an effort to solidify their support with their evangelical base. They didn’t exactly praise the Lord and break out the champagne when Roe was overturned.

The fact is that Roe enjoyed wide support among most of the electorate, including many non-evangelical Republicans, and the banning of abortion is the worst thing that could have happened to the GOP.

Republican candidates across the country are shifting their position on abortion. They know how to read the political tea leaves and have moderated their position on abortion as they pivot from primaries to the general election.

Republican candidates who condemned a woman’s right to choose with evangelical zeal in the primaries have all of a sudden discovered nuance and compromise as they face off against their Democratic opponents in the general election.

Republican politicians were terrified when voters in Kansas overwhelmingly decided to keep abortion protections in their state’s constitution and a few weeks later, a House candidate in upstate New York won a special election in a competitive district by making abortion the top issue of his campaign.

As the midterms quickly approach, I hope voters aren’t fooled by the Republicans’ shifting position on abortion born out of political expediency. If you believe in choice, vote blue this November.

Marco Rubio is Hated Because He’s a Follower of Donald Trump, Not Because He’s a Follower of Jesus Christ

Marco Rubio

“Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.”

Luke 6:22

Marco Rubio Tweet

For a United States senator to quote from a holy book, is unseemly at best an undemocratic at worst. I don’t care if an elected official considers the Bible, the Koran or the Vedas the word of God, I care only that they consider the Constitution the supreme law of humans.

I consider any scripture uttered by a politician in his official role execrable rubbish, unworthy of being praised.

The voters don’t hate Marco Rubio on account of his spiritual devotion to the Son of Man, but on account of his slavish devotion to Donald Trump.

Rubio, like most evangelicals, care only about members of their own religion expressing nothing but contempt for immigrants, minorities, gays and lesbians, progressives and liberals and anyone else who doesn’t subscribe to their Neanderthal beliefs, and then they have the gall to complain that people hate them on account of their faith.

If Rubio distanced himself from Trump and his racist, undemocratic, misogynist and homophobic views, he wouldn’t be so reviled regardless if he was a follower of Jesus, Buddha or the Prophet Muhammad.

White Evangelicals Are Toxic

Evangelicals

White evangelicals’ obsession with Donald Trump has tarnished their reputation beyond salvation. Pre-Trump when evangelicals said grace before eating their meal in a table near us in a restaurant, we just looked at them askance and resumed eating our meals. Now when evangelicals congregate near us in any public setting, we are wont to make a sign of the cross and move far, far away. Simply put, they are toxic.

Evangelical morality is expressly repudiated by the general public, and they are seen as an existential threat to Christianity and democracy. Religious folks of all stripes and the non-religious give them a wide berth.

Evangelicals are cognizant that they are reviled and you’d think they would retreat to their own closed-off enclaves to wait for the rapture.

Instead, they are up on our grill preaching the Gospel of Trump and on a mission from Satan to turn our democracy into a White Christian Nationalist state.

I should copy the modus operandi of evangelicals and pass out tracts with a copy of this essay, and whenever an evangelical starts to spout some MAGA nonsense I can just give him one of my tracts.

The Real Pedophiles Are in Trump’s GOP & Evangelical Church Not the Democratic Pary

GOP Pedo Party

QAnon cultists subscribe to myriad conspiracy theories, but their main conspiracy theory is that a cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles rule the world.

QAnon cultist and white evangelicals are incestuous cousins and they share many of the same absurd beliefs, and they are always accusing Democratic politicians and Hollywood celebrities of pedophilia.

Although they have no problem embracing evangelical/conservative genuine pedophiles like Matt Gaetz and Roy Moore.

Evangelicals are masters of projection; their ranks are infested with pedophiles and men who sexually abuse women and girls.  The sexualization and grooming of teenage girls into early marriage and pregnancy is common in evangelical and fundamentalist circles.

Pedophilia is rampant is patriarchal organizations like the Roman Catholic Church and the Southern Baptist Convention. Evangelicals believe in the same mantra as pimps, “Pimps up, Ho’s down”, although they would phrase it using theological words.

The ideal evangelical woman is married, pregnant, busy in the kitchen and leaves home only to shop for groceries and to attend church.

Evangelical Republicans have an anti-women agenda, and they aren’t content with overturning Roe, contraceptive justice and same-sex marriage are in their gun sights.

Its’ imperative for citizens who love freedom and democracy, regardless if they are mainline Protestants, progressive Catholics, or atheists to come together to defeat the anti-female, anti-democratic evangelical movement.

Biden’s Philadelphia Speech Interrupted by Pro-Trump Hecklers

Biden

Donald Trump stump speeches are so inflammatory, fiery and chock full of racist dog whistles, that any audience member with a shred of decency and integrity is almost compelled to heckle him.

During Trump’s two presidential runs he was often heckled, and he always responded by threatening hecklers with violence.

During last night’s speech about protecting democracy against Trump and his MAGA followers, Biden was frequently interrupted with cries of “Fuck Joe Biden” and “Let’s go Brandon”, a more polite way of expressing the same hateful sentiment.

President Joe Biden answered hecklers by reminding everyone that profane and obnoxious critics have their place, too. “They’re entitled to be outrageous, he said. “This is a democracy.”

The hecklers interrupting Biden’s speech with obscenities proved the premise of his speech that Trump’s MAGA supporters are unhinged and dangerous.

And Biden’s response proved that he understands that in a democracy even boorish hecklers are tolerated and not threatened with violence.

If the choice in 2024 is once again Trump vs Biden, anyone who heard the president’s speech last night knows that a vote for Biden is a vote for democracy and a vote for Trump is a vote for tyranny.
