It’s Time to Change the Name of Lynchburg, VA

I was born in San Francisco, CA, perhaps the most diverse city in America; the City by the Bay welcomes people of all ethnicities, sexual orientations and religious backgrounds. I am proud to proclaim that I was born and raised in San Francisco.

Twenty years ago, for personal and financial reasons I moved to Lynchburg, Va. I was embarrassed when I informed my colleagues and friends that I was moving to a small city in Virginia called Lynchburg. That name has such violent, racist, and horrifying connotations.

The city was named after the city’s founder, John Lynch and was not derived from the crime of lynching. Heaven knows how many lynchings have taken place in the 234 history of Lynchburg, but it’s only in the aftermath of the modern-day lynching of George Floyd that some residents of Lynchburg have considered changing the name of their quaint little town in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  

I’m a progressive who was born in the city evangelicals love to call Sodom, and naturally I almost never agree with Trump supporter Jerry Falwell, Jr, the president of the evangelical mecca, Liberty University. But I say “Amen” to this press release from Falwell:

“I personally support changing the name of the city of Lynchburg. It’s been an embarrassment to Liberty University ever since we started. That was one of the reasons Liberty’s original name was changed from Lynchburg Baptist College to Liberty Baptist College in 1976.”

When even Jerry Falwell, Jr. calls for the renaming of Lynchburg, it’s time to change the name of Lynchburg to a name that doesn’t embarrass and shame its residents.

San Francisco is the most beautiful city in the world, but Lynchburg is also blessed with natural beauty and friendly residents. I’m proud to say that I’m from San Francisco and if Lynchburg changes its name, I will also be proud to say that I love in this charming city.

Roger Stone Finds Jesus, Must be the Same Republican Jesus that Trump’s White Evangelical Supporters Worship

“President Donald Trump’s longtime friend and campaign adviser Roger Stone says he was never worried about going to prison.

Just days before he was set to begin serving a 40-month prison sentence after being convicted of lying to lawmakers who were investigating whether Russia influenced the 2016 elections, Trump commuted his sentence.

‘Praise be to God. I was never nervous or worried because I had prayed so fervently for deliverance from my persecutors and I knew in my heart that He would Protect me,’ he told me.”

Roger stone is the quintessential political trickster, his hardball political tactics, blind loyalty to his clients and unbridled glee at the success of his politics of personal destruction ensured that there would always be Republican candidates lined up to avail themselves of his services.  

It’s a miracle that Stone’s Machiavellian politics and win at all costs mentality didn’t land him in prison, but he managed to avoid the Big House in his long career from working for Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George W Bush.

But it looked like working for Donald Trump, who makes Richard Nixon look like a Sunday School teacher, would finally get him imprisoned. Stone was facing prison time after being convicted of lying to Congress, witness tampering, and obstruction of justice.

Stone wasn’t worried about going to prison because in his own words:

“Praise be to God. I was never nervous or worried because I had prayed so fervently for deliverance from my persecutors and I knew in my heart that He would Protect me.”

Praise God Indeed, Stone knew that he would protect him, after all Trump had repeatedly hinted that he would pardon his loyal aide. I’m sure Stone who has a penchant for orgies prayed fervently to his false messiah to save him while clutching a rosary in one hand and a porn DVD in the other.

Stone claims to have given his life to Jesus some six months ago, and I suspect his “conversion” will have zero influence on the hardball and sometimes criminal ways he conducts business as a political consultant. After all, the white evangelical Christians who are Trump’s most loyal supporters, wax orgasmic at the evil machinations of their hero.

Trump Wore Mask for First Time in Public When He Visited Walter Reed Medical Center

Donald Trump wore a face mask in public for the first time when he visited Walter Reed Medical Center, where he met with wounded troops and medical staff. “You’re in a hospital setting, I think it’s a very appropriate thing, the stable genius said. No shit, Sherlock!

The commander-in-chief had defiantly refused to don a mask in public throughout the coronavirus pandemic, that’s akin to a firefighter refusing to put on his flame-resistant uniform whenever he responds to a call.

A firefighter who responds to a raging fire clad in jeans and a polo shirt would be ridiculed by onlookers and fired by the Fire Department, but Trump has been lauded by his fanatical base for refusing to wear a face covering in a raging pandemic.

It should be noted that Trump wore a mask in public for the first time only after almost every other prominent Republican has urged citizens to wear a mask and only after over three million Americans have been infected by the virus, and over 130,000 have died from the disease.

Trump’s fancy mask was navy blue bearing the presidential seal in gold, maybe if someone designs a mask bearing the presidential seal in gold and Trump’s name in gold, he might wear it every time he appears in public.

Certainly he needs to set an example for his followers, because they won’t wear a mask until their messiah consistently wears one in public.

Boycott Goya Products! Anyone Who Supports Trump is Anathema!

Donald Trump’s toxic Twitter posts, racist rhetoric and policies that seem designed to punish minorities expose him as a blatant racist. As Maya said, when someone shows you who they are, believe them.

In the face of overwhelming evidence that Trump is a racist, at this point anyone who still supports him is a racist, or a morally suspect person who realizes that he’s a racist, but overlooks, rationalizes or tries to explain away his racism out of political expediency or personal gain.  

Trump revealed his enmity toward the Latino community since his first campaign speech for the presidency, in which he described Mexican immigrants as “rapists” and “criminals.”

For the CEO of Goya Foods, a brand beloved by Latinos, to heap praise on the racist-in-chief is unforgivable, and he must be punished. Unanue’s epitaph should read:

“We’re truly blessed to have a leader like Donald Trump.”

Goya brands are as ubiquitous in Hispanic households as jars of mayonnaise are in MAGA households. No more I say, no more! Boycott Goya brands! Enough is Enough! We must not tolerate hypocrites and traitors in our ranks!

Trump Meets Mexico’s President and Doesn’t Bring Up the Subject of the Wall

Building a wall from coast to coast on our border with Mexico was Trump’s most consequential 2016 campaign promise and the defining issue of the first three years of his presidency. Trump not only promised that he, the master real estate developer would build the wall, but also that he the master negotiator would somehow cajole or intimidate Mexico to pay for it.

Trump has abjectly failed to build the wall and to have Mexico pay for it:

Trump has given up on his outlandish promise, evidenced by the fact that when he hosted Mexico’s recently elected President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador at the White House for the first time on Wednesday, he didn’t remind him that Mexico has yet to pay a dime towards his vanity project.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said the subject didn’t come up when she was in the room. I’m not surprised, Trump didn’t want to risk having the Mexican leader tell him in no uncertain terms that Mexico wouldn’t pay for the damn wall.

Let’s not forget that Obrador’s predecessor, Enrique Peña Nieto, indignantly tweeted back in 2018:

“Mexico will NEVER pay for a wall. Not now, not ever.”

Trump has less than a year left to wreak havoc, and I’m sorry to disappoint his racist base, but he’s not going to build the damn wall. In fact, he has replaced his fixation with the wall with an obsession with protecting Confederate monuments.

Trump is Campaigning on a Platform of Racism and Praising an Economy That’s Been Destroyed by the Coronavirus

Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton, to a large extent, because he succeeded in demonizing “Crooked Hilary”. He persuaded a jaded electorate that they should bet on him, because the Republican establishment represented by the likes of “Low Energy” Jeb Bush and the Democratic establishment symbolized by the likes of e-mail deleting Hillary Clinton had so utterly failed to improve the lives of working class and middle-class Americans.

It wasn’t difficult for Trump to demonize a politician who reeked of the sulfur of corruption and elitism. Trump didn’t win because the electorate loved him, they simply hated him less than Hillary, and they wanted to send the message that they were sick and tired of the establishment.

The election is only four months away, but Trump hasn’t focused on demonizing Joe Biden. Trump’s half-hearted efforts to criticize Biden as “Sleepy Joe” hasn’t gained any traction, and he has to ramp up his “trash talk” if he wants to take down Biden a peg or two.

I don’t blame Trump for ignoring Biden, voters had a visceral hatred of Clinton and she was an easy candidate to run against, but people tend to look endearingly at Joe Biden.

Instead of attacking Biden, Trump is running on how great the economy is, or should I say was before it was crushed by the coronavirus pandemic.  

Against all evidence to the contrary Trump is pushing the false narrative that the COVID-19 pandemic is petering out and it will soon miraculously disappear.

And above all else Trump is doubling down and tripling down on racism, wrapping himself in the Confederate flag, and declaring himself the protector of Confederate statues and monuments.

Trump’s campaign platform of extolling an economy that has now been shattered, playing down a pandemic that is raging out of control, and fanning the flames of racism guarantees that he will suffer a defeat of landslide proportions.

A Desperate Trump is Doubling Down on Racism

Donald Trump isn’t a conservative like Ronald Reagan who had a clearly delineated philosophy of building up our military to bankrupt the Evil Empire and implementing supply-side economics to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Trump isn’t even a conservative, but he became a Republican out of political expediency because his racism and nationalism resonated with the white evangelicals who would tip the presidential election in his favor.

From the surreal moment when Trump descended the golden escalator at Trump Tower to announce his presidency by calling Mexicans rapists and criminals, he’s made racism the central focus of his political rhetoric.

But what were once dog whistles and winks and nods are now clarion calls celebrating white nationalism. In the time of a pandemic and a time of racial reckoning the stable genius is pretending the pandemic isn’t raging out-of-control and isn’t making any effort whatsoever to unite Americans.

Because the short-fingered vulgarian is sinking in the polls, he’s doubling down on racism: Defending Confederate statues, saying “black lives matter” is a symbol of hate, and posting blatantly racist videos on Twitter.

Trump is destined for an ignominious defeat in November, and if Republicans want to survive as a viable national party now is the time to reject Trump and his racism. But I don’t see that happening and for the foreseeable future the GOP will be tarnished by Trump’s racism.

If I’m wrong and Trump is reelected the American experiment will end and America will become the land of the fascists and the home of the racists.

Donald Trump Jr: ‘It’s Not too Complicated to Wear a Mask’

As the coronavirus pandemic spikes in the South and West, Republican leaders are finally pushing back against the notion that masks are about politics, as Donald Trump suggests.

The head of the White House Coronavirus Task Force Vice President Mike Pence has finally seen the light and has started wearing a mask in public and urging Americans to follow his lead. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell instructed Americans to wear one when they are unable to maintain social distance.  

And now even Donald Trump Jr. said that masks should be worn during the Republican National Convention.

The president remains the only noteworthy GOP leader who is still peddling the dangerous notion that wearing a mask is about politics and not public safety. If Trump donned a mask in public and urged his supporters to do the same the curve might finally be flattened.

After all, Trump’s supporters will do anything their false messiah tells them to do. If Trump orders them to jump off a cliff, they would leap off the cliff while screaming, “I love Trump!” If Trump told them to wear their underwear as a face covering to protect them from the coronavirus, they would immediately take off their dirty drawers and cover their faces.

The same way that Donald Trump Jr. would urge his senile old dad to zip up his pants before facing the press, he should convince the doddering old stable genius to wear a mask in public.

Trump’s Retweet of ‘White Power’ Video Shows He is Doubling Down on Racism

President Donald Trump’s disastrous mismanagement of the coronavirus pandemic and his failure to unite Americans in the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder has eroded his support among suburban women, senior citizens and independent voters.

Trump has responded by doubling down on racism in a desperate attempt to keep his racist white evangelical supporters from deserting him.

Charlottesville taught us that the racist-in-chief thinks that white supremacists and Nazis are fine people, now he is calling them “great people.”

On Sunday Trump tweeted approvingly of a video depicting one of his supporters screaming “White Power”, not one but twice. He retweeted the video featuring the racist chant with this message:

“Thank you to the great people of The Villages. “

Trump later deleted the toxic tweet and the White House said he had not heard “the one statement” on the video. Trump is so lazy and impulsive that I wouldn’t be surprised if he posted the minutes-long video to his 80 million followers without doing due diligence and making sure it didn’t contain any offensive comments. But the “White Power” screams came only eight seconds into the video, and there’s no way in hell he wasn’t aware of his racist supporter screaming “White Power.”

Trump is no longer bothering with dog whistles, his polices and rhetoric are a clarion call for racism. Trump is a blatant racist, and anyone who supports him is a racist.

Trump’s Refusal to Wear a Mask Will Result in Death of His Campaign

During his entire tenure, Trump has suffered many self-inflicted wounds, but his mistakes and irresponsible actions during the coronavirus pandemic and the racial unrest following the murder of George Floyd have assured that he will be a one-term president.

Trump’s chaotic response to the COVID-19 pandemic is best illustrated by his self-defeating resistance to donning a mask. His stubborn stance, mimicked by his base undercuts efforts by public health officials to flatten the curve.

Not wearing a mask has become a sign of allegiance to the science-denying commander-in-chief, and his sycophants look askance at anyone wearing a mask in public. If Trump’s followers were as eager to put on a mask as they are to wear a MAGA hat we would make progress against the spread of the coronavirus.

By not wearing a mask Trump is playing with fire, he’s setting a bad example that will result in non-compliance by his supporters, and the spread of the virus that will in turn impede efforts to revive the economy.

But Trump’s greatest gamble is that his penchant for not wearing a mask will result in him being infected with the coronavirus. A morbidly obese septuagenarian with a history of heart disease is at great risk of dying from the virus. Even if he catches the coronavirus and survives it will be a death blow to his reelection chances. The optics of the stable genius smitten by the coronavirus would be a metaphor of how he has completely screwed up his response to the pandemic.

White Evangelical Pastors Vow to Defend Statues of White Surfer Dude Jesus

“A group of evangelical pastors gathered at Seattle’s CHOP zone earlier this week to pray and declare that they will defend houses of worship and statues of Jesus after activists called for tearing them down amid Black Lives Matter protests.”

White evangelicals seem to be unfamiliar with the basic tenets of their faith, the first of the Ten Commandments prohibits making any statues of Jesus or any other heavenly being:

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Evangelicals should be leading the charge to topple these graven images, the blond surfer dude Jesus statues are a sacrilegious abomination, a historical misrepresentation and an aesthetical nightmare.

But I’m not surprised that white evangelicals worship their white Jesus statues, after all they worship an orange anti-Christ.

The historical dark brown or black Jesus would be appalled at the spectacle of evangelicals defending these vile statues.

Instead of defending statues of Jesus, evangelicals should be defending the Gospel message of peace, unity and love. But if these reprobates embrace an amoral buffoon who is the antithesis of everything that the Bible teaches, I’m not surprised they are defending graven images.

Trump’s Comeback Tulsa MAGA rally an Unmitigated Disaster. Humiliated Beyond Belief!

A MAGA rally is a toxic mixture of revival tent meeting, KKK rally and carnival sideshow, presided over by an orange buffoon who is treated like the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The dregs of society are drawn to these grand spectacles like flies are drawn to a steaming pile of dung. The rednecks, white evangelicals, white supremacists and assorted riff-raff who attend these political rallies are energized and emboldened in their hateful and racist ideology as they feed off the dog whistles and red meat their fearless leader so promiscuously dishes out. There’s a sucker born every minute and all these marks consider it a religious obligation to attend these festivals of intolerance and racism.

The racist-in-chief is also energized by his MAGA shit shows, they are oxygen for is inflated ego and he views them as evidence of his political potency. Trump is lambasted by pundits, educators, theologians and everyday people who are repulsed by his vulgarity, vanity and racism, but he knows that at a MAGA rally he will be treated like a rock God.

Trump was desperate to get back on the campaign trail, coronavirus pandemic be damned. The amoral authoritarian calculated that he could pretend the crisis was over and his science-denying evangelical base would still flock to his rallies.

Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale bragged that over one million people had registered to attend Trump’s first rally held during the pandemic. In fact, he was so confident that the 19,000 arena would sell out, that he built an outdoor stage to handle the overflow crowd.

Imagine Trump’s disappointment and humiliation when there were literally only a couple of dozen people meandering around the outside stage, and only 6,200 supporters inside the arena. I’m surprised that morbidly obese charlatan didn’t suffer a heart attack as he gazed on empty row after empty row of blue seats.

Trump may peddle the fake news that the pandemic is over, but his multitude of MAGA-heads had enough sense not to attend an indoor event where they would be packed like sardines, especially considering that the coronavirus is surging in Tulsa.

Trump’s comeback rally was a disaster of Biblical proportions and we know that he doesn’t read the holy book but maybe he will read the writing on the wall: Americans are sick and tired of you and your ever-shrinking racist base won’t be enough to save your racist ass.

Mike Pence Refuses to Say: Black Lives Matter

“Vice President Mike Pence wouldn’t say the words ‘black lives matter’ when specifically asked to say them in an interview with a local ABC affiliate in Philadelphia. The interview took place on Friday, Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.

He instead said what happened to George Floyd was a tragedy and said: ‘In this nation, especially on, on Juneteenth, we celebrate the fact that from the founding of this nation, we cherish the ideal that all, all of us are created equal and endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights. And so, all lives matter in a very real sense.’”

In an interview about Juneteenth, a holiday celebrated on 19 June to commemorate the emancipation of slaves in the United States, it would have been the most appropriate time for Vice President Mike Pence to exclaim, “Black Lives Matter”.

Mike Pence repeatedly declined to utter the words “Black lives matter” during the interview with the ABC affiliate in Pennsylvania on Friday, instead saying that “all lives matter.”

It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone in the racist Trump administration to acknowledge the dignity and humanity of African Americans. In the aftermath of the cold-blooded murder of George Floyd, the latest in an endless string of black men killed by police, when millions of Americans are protesting in cities, towns and villages all over our country, it’s political malpractice and an unpardonable sin for Pence not to acknowledge that there’s systemic racism in the police department and in our society at large by saying: Black Lives Matter!

It’s axiomatic that all lives matter, but it’s not whites who are systematically being executed by cops, it’s blacks who are being hunted down like dogs. In this context it’s foolish and disingenuous to say “all lives matter”, the only sensible response to this institutionalized racism is to scream, “Black Lives Matter.”

After almost four years of the racist rhetoric and racist policies of the Trump administration, it’s abundantly clear that white lives, blue lives and redneck lives matter to them, but they don’t believe that Black Lives Matter!

If you believe that all lives matter, including black lives, on November 3, 2020 vote for Joe Biden, the only candidate who will run his administration as if Black Lives Matter!

Uncle Tom Ben Carson Says Trump Will Ease Up On Athletes Who Kneel During National Anthem

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist, political analyst, or a psychologist to deduce that Donald Trump is exploiting the racial divide and harping on cultural issues to cement his standing with his base.

Ever since Colin Kaepernick first knelt during the playing of the National Anthem to protest police brutality and racial discrimination some four years ago, Trump has railed against him and other black athletes who use their platform to protest racial discrimination.

The racist-in-chief has spread the false narrative that these professional athletes were disrespecting the flag and dishonoring our military by kneeling during the national anthem, even though they have stated time and time again that they were protesting America’s treatment of racial minorities.

Nobody thinks that Trump will ease up on his criticisms of athletes who kneel in protest during the national anthem, in his mind they will always be sons of bitches.

Only HUD Secretary Ben Carson thinks that Trump will ease up on his lambasting of black players who kneel during the national anthem. He told Hugh Hewitt the following:

“Well, I don’t think he has manifested as much animosity in that region lately and I think we just continue to work with him. He’ll get there.”

Earth to Uncle Tom Carson: he won’t get there. He will never get there. Nobody has any respect for an Oreo, and a sniveling coward has no sway over Trump.

Trump will continue to use race to divide the public and pander to his racist base. But the George Floyd murder has changed everything, and America has had enough of racial inequality. Trump’s racist base and support from Uncle Toms the likes of Carson won’t be enough, and he’s headed to a defeat of landslide proportions.

Outrage Over George Floyd’s Murder Will Bring Down Donald Trump

Donald Trump is a demented and doddering old racist, but I give him credit for skillfully exploiting America’s racial divide, emboldening white supremacists and Nazis with his dog whistles and thrilling his white evangelical supporters with his undisguised vitriol.

White evangelicals are full of piss and vinegar and it’s not the wise and comforting words of Jesus in the Gospels that they seek, but the vulgar and hateful words of their false messiah, Trump, that makes them cream their pants.

Trump skillfully surfed the waves of racial discord, even the killer wave of Charlottesville failed to knock him off balance. He emerged from that hateful moment in American history with support from his base not only intact but strengthened.

But the callous and cold-blooded murder of an unarmed African American, George Floyd, by four police officers changed everything. The murder recorded on a teen’s cellphone has been seen by millions, if not billions, worldwide, and every day since his brutal murder hundreds of thousands have been protesting and demanding justice for George Floyd and an end to police brutality and racism.

Americans are sick and tired of police brutality and we are sick and tired of Trump’s racist rhetoric and policy. Enough is enough and we demand an end to systemic police racism and Trump’s racist administration.

Trump Wobbles Unsteadily Down Ramp After West Point Speech

Four years ago, on June 16, 2015, Donald Trump slowly descended a golden escalator, with his trophy wife in tow, to the basement of the Trump Tower, to make his presidential announcement speech. It was a well-choreographed event, the reality show host even paid people $50 to attend and cheer his address.

On Saturday videos depicted Trump unsteadily walking down a ramp after delivering a speech to the graduating class at West Point. The last four years of wreaking havoc on America has taken a physical toll on the septuagenarian, it takes all his focus not to tumble as he balances his immense girth as he walks down a ramp.

The stable genius was furious at the ridicule of pundits and late-night comics who saw the video exposing his decrepit physical state. He tweeted:

“The ramp that I descended after my West Point Commencement speech was very long & steep, had no handrail and, most importantly, was very slippery. The last thing I was going to do is ‘fall’ for the Fake News to have fun with. Final ten feet I ran down to level ground. Momentum!”

Trump can descend an escalator and maintain a modicum of grace, but walking down stairs is an ordeal. He should avoid stairs whenever possible and use a walker to get around. But the short-fingered vulgarian is too vain to acknowledge his physical infirmities and he’d rather be dead than be forced to cry out: I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up.

It’s time to kick this doddering old geezer to the curb, he’s physically, mentally, ethically, and intellectually unfit to be the President of the United States.

“For the past day or two, the reportedly naked picture of US President Trump has been a major talking point on social media networks with the image reported to have been filtered online by activists Anonymous with the group earlier in the week releasing “The Little Black Book of Jeffrey Epstein” with the group planning more leaks. Donald Trump is a physically repulsive human being: his sphincter-shaped mouth, orange complexion, double chin, beer belly and tiny hands induce even a person with a strong constitution to vomit.

I cringe whenever I see him on TV fully clothed, and the prospect that there may be naked pictures of him circulating on the Internet terrifies me beyond belief.

The hacker collective Anonymous posted a naked pic of Trump that depicts him standing still while an unseen person (Mike Pence?) sprays orange tan on his bloated carcass.

Thank God, none of us, probably not even Melania, has seen Trump butt naked and therefore can’t attest to the authenticity of the photograph. Perhaps only the few porn stars, Playboy centerfolds and strippers with the misfortune of having seen the orange baboon naked can offer an educated guess about its validity.

Trump’s penis is pixilated in the image that I saw, and the fact that it took only two pixels to blur his manhood leads me to believe it might be genuine.

Actually, most experts believe the image is the work of British artist Alison Jackson. God, I hope so, the last thing we need in these perilous times are genuine naked pics of Trump circulating on the internet.

Soccer may be the most popular sport in the world, but it’s hardly America’s pastime and political statements by soccer stars don’t usually receive widespread attention.

But Michael Bradley made some astute comments about Trump and the racial unrest that is wracking our country that deserves attention and analysis.

Bradley said that if America wants to solve the issues of racially inequality and social injustice “then Trump can’t be president, it’s as simple as that.”

Hundreds of thousands of Americans from all walks of life and diverse ethnic backgrounds have been protesting the cold-blooded murder of an unarmed black man, George Floyd, and the police brutality and racial profiling that his murder represents.

This is an inflection point that will lead to society and government finally taking concrete steps to address the decades old problem of racism in the police ranks specifically, and in our society as a whole. At least that’s what many pundits and politicians have been telling us.

But they are dead wrong and Bradley is spot on, the intractable problems of racial inequality and social injustice won’t be solved with the racist-in-chief who has never met a white supremacist that he doesn’t consider a good person is still in office.

Not only must Trump be thrown out of office, but it’s also imperative that Democrats regain control of the Senate. Again, Bradley is spot on, Republican senators have been totally complicit in Trump’s racist agenda.

We will have many more unarmed black men murdered by killer cops if we don’t defeat Trump and Trumpism in the polls this November.

White Evangelicals Praise Trump’s Blasphemous Photo Op

Donald Trump craps on subtlety and nuance, when he panders to his white evangelical base he does so in an over-the-top way. Most Americans were shocked when Trump ordered police and military personnel to use tear gas and rubber bullets against peaceful protesters to clear the way so he could walk to a nearby historical church to stage a sacrilegious and blasphemous photo-op.

But when white evangelicals witnessed Trump brandishing a Bible, upside down, outside a church, they praised him as a crusader establishing God’s kingdom on Earth. We may have winced at the reality of an amoral buffoon using a Bible as a prop and a church as a backdrop to appeal to his gullible white evangelical base, they broke out in tongues at the heavenly vision of their orange messiah testifying to the supremacy of their faith.

Jesus said “my kingdom is not of this world”, and history chronicles that all attempts to create a peaceful theocracy culminate in brutal dictatorships. The national zeitgeist is striving for a secular democracy where all religions are respected, all races are treated with equality and people of all sexual orientations are allowed to be themselves.

Trump and his supporters are on the wrong side of democracy and demographics, they will never establish a theocracy, and they may not even win another presidential race.

We will survive the coronavirus pandemic, the metastatic cancer of racism and the Neanderthal Trumpism that is currently poisoning our democracy.

Lo and Behold: God’s Anointed Trump Holds Up a Bible Outside a Church Fulfilling Scripture

Today I witnessed a holy scene that resonated with my white evangelical soul and reaffirmed my belief that Donald Trump is a humble servant of God and a mighty prophet anointed by the Almighty to Make America a Great White Nation Again.

After the President declared himself a “Law and Order President” in the Rose Garden and promised to restore order in our nation divided by Satan’s army of liberals, he mobilized the police and members of the military to clear out a peaceful protest by pacifists and snowflakes so he could make a pilgrimage to a nearby church.

The Lord gave the stable genius the wisdom to hold up a small Bible, God knows that our Dear Leader wouldn’t have been able to hold a giant Bible with his tiny hand without toppling over.

This heavenly photo-op made the angels in heaven rejoice and his saints below cream their paints in holy ecstasy. The stain in my groin area testifies to my righteousness and loyalty to God’s anointed.

This photo-op fulfills Scripture: Lo and behold the women’s moist undergarments and the men’s soiled white tighties testified that the Almighty had elevated a White Messiah to the greatest office in the land.

I’m compelled to state that is a satirical piece, because Trump’s white evangelical supporters are so freaking stupid.  In reality I’m a Latino who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, and is horrified how Trump is making a mockery out of Christianity and destroying our democracy.

The Chaos King, Donald Trump, Will Not Survive the Chaos of the Coronavirus Pandemic and Racial Unrest

Donald Trump is like a whirling dervish in a china shop, oblivious to the havoc and destruction he is wreaking while the shop owner, employees and customers panic and try to stay out of the path of destruction.

Trump has always thrived in chaos; he embraces chaos and draws energy from its destructive fury.

Trump was a novice politician when he entered the 2016 presidential race, but he was a veteran at causing chaos and benefiting from it. The stable genius upended the race, rendering his seasoned political foes impotent and helpless at his unconventional campaign that relied on vulgar insults, childish name-calling, and outrageous lies.

After Trump steamrolled over his Republican challengers and beat Hillary Clinton senseless and became President of the United States, the chaos didn’t end, he didn’t suddenly become presidential and rational.

The Trump presidency has been an endless roller coaster ride, where the roller coaster periodically flies off the tracks only to magically land back on track. Trump has not only survived the chaos of the Muller investigation, impeachment and the Ukraine scandal, but has emerged stronger and seemingly invincible.

But chaos always wins, it will envelop and vanquish even the most horrible tyrants. With the general election only five months away, Trump finds himself paralyzed by the coronavirus pandemic and the racial unrest unleashed by the callous and brutal murder of yet another unarmed black man by the police.

Elections are a referendum on the incumbent, and with unemployment at record levels, the economy is shambles, tens of thousands killed by the virus and our cities in flames, not even Trump can survive this unfathomable chaos.

Trump will leave office with America in a state of chaos, it will require the goodwill and tireless effort of a united people to rebuild our democracy.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Has Choice Words for Racist Trump

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot didn’t mince word when she spelled out what she wants to say to President Donald Trump:

“It starts with “F” and end with “U.”

The mayor is a black feminist lesbian, and she recognizes the racist, misogynist and homophobic Trump as her implacable enemy.

I’m a liberal, Hispanic senior citizen, and I likewise recognize Trump as a bigot who doesn’t give a crap about someone like me.

If a reporter asked me the same question that was posed to Mayor Lightfoot, I would answer in similar fashion:

“Fuck Donald Trump!”

Lightfoot’s unambiguous message to the stable genius came the morning after he threatened to send the military to Minneapolis to shoot protesters demonstrating this week after George Floyd was murdered in broad daylight by a police officer while he was being detained. It came after the racist-in-chief called protesters “THUGS” in a tweet. It came after he tweeted the racist mantra, “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”

In his careers as a real estate developer, reality TV star and president, he has exposed himself as a blatant racist, and no intelligent person should waste any words on Trump.

All I have to say to Donald Trump is “Fuck You”, and if you don’t understand my state of mind, fuck you as well.

COVID-19 Blues

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle during a pandemic is almost impossible, we toss and turn at night and somnolently sit during the day binge watching a series on Netflix that we won’t remember a couple of days from now.

Watching TV and eating snacks go hand-in-hand, it’s an immutable law that for every hour of TV that you watch you gain an ounce.

Working out at night at the gym was a reward for a hard day’s work at the office, but when we stay at home all day watching TV, browsing the Internet and doing much of nothing it’s difficult to work yourself up to exercise.

The longer the stay-at-home order lasts, the more we worry about our finances and the more we eat junk funk to calm our nerves. It’s a vicious cycle that will end in a heart attack from gaining too much food or worrying too much.

The average American has put on an extra five pounds since the pandemic started, and keep in mind that the average American was already overweight. The world will end not with a bang or a whimper but with a burp.

I don’t think we well survive the new normal without becoming obese bankrupt pessimists. Our only hope is that CERN will unleash a baby black hole that will put us out of our misery.

Joe Biden Makes 1st In-Person Appearance in 2 Months Looking Like the Grim Reaper

Since abruptly cancelling a March 10 rally in Cleveland at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, Joe Biden has waged his presidential campaign from his basement in Wilmington.

The images that have emerged from Biden’s self-imposed seclusion have been of a besotted septuagenarian totally flummoxed by the video platforms of a virtual campaign.

Biden made his first in-person appearance in more than two months on Monday as he marked Memorial Day by laying a wreath at a veterans’ park near his Delaware home.

With his black face mask and sunglasses, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee looked like the Grim Reaper, not an inappropriate look for a visit to a cemetery, but a disastrous look for a presidential candidate.

Biden briefly spoke to reporters, but his words were muffled through his black cloth mask. I applaud Biden for setting a good example by wearing a face mask in public, but why wear a face covering that makes you look like a ghoul?

Donald Trump is the worst president in history, but if Biden doesn’t step up his game he’s going to lose.
