Trump Tweets Congratulations to Residents of The Villages! For What?

The Villages in Sumter County, Florida is the largest retirement community in the world. At least one person in a household living in The Villages must be 55 or older, and no on under the age of 19 may permanently reside in The Villages.

The Villages is the spiritual and political Mecca for retired Republicans. According to Wikipedia, the racial makeup of The Villages is 98.3% White, 0.3% African American, 0.1% Native American and %1.8Hispanic.

Needless to say, residents of The Villages voted overwhelmingly for Trump. The Villages is a paradise for Republicans and they probably wish they could live forever because the diversity of heaven will be a huge letdown. Not that I’m expecting too many of these racists to be admitted through the pearly gates.

The Villages is the home of the largest veteran population anywhere in the United States that doesn’t have a military base. Nobody should be surprised that The Villages is a MAGA stronghold, and Trump has visited the retirement community numerous times.

The residents of The Villages have not done well in reference to their response to the coronavirus pandemic. One hundred residents have tested positive for the virus after the community refused to cancel a number of events where hundreds gathered.

I have very little in common with a community of elderly white Republicans who worship the orange false Messiah, but I don’t wish them ill and I hope they will deserve to be congratulated by taking the coronavirus seriously.

Democrats Shouldn’t Hesitate to Call Donald Trump Insane

Only white evangelicals who have an unstable relationship with reality themselves, believe that the stable genius is not only sane but anointed by God to make America Great Again.

When an evangelical living in a trailer park believes that if he uses his only credit card that’s not been maxed out to send a donation to his favorite televangelist so that God will lift him out of poverty, you can understand why these fundamentalists believe Trump when he makes the crazy promise to build a wall from sea to sea on our southern border and that Mexico will pay for it.

Democratic leaders don’t demur to call Trump a liar or even a fascist but they are reluctant to state the obvious, that he’s mentally unfit. Dems are stung by their failure to impeach and remove Trump from office; therefore, they balk at saying that he should be removed from office via the 25th Amendment. I’m still waiting for a Chuck Schumer or a Joe Biden to declare that the stable genius should be immediately removed via the 25th Amendment and committed to an insane asylum or thrown in a military prison.

The truth is that Democrats aren’t going to say that Trump is freaking nuts and needs to be removed from office via the 25th Amendment. I only hope and pray that America will survive the coronavirus pandemic with a madman at the helm until Biden win the election and assumes office.

Biden Doesn’t Need to Reach Out to Trump’s Base to Win Election

“Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said that he likely will not be able to reach President Trump’s base, saying that some of the most committed of his supporters ‘support the notion’ of creating division.

Most of Trump’s supporters are evangelical Christians who have been programed to accept the ravings of televangelists like Joel Osteen, Pat Robertson and Franklin Graham as the Word of God and they have no problem accepting their false messiah’s mad utterances as Gospel.

Republicans supported Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush and George W Bush because they believed in their conservative ideology, but Trump’s devotees stand behind their man because they are transfixed by his bigger than life persona. His followers are more impressed by the Trump brand than they are by Republican orthodoxy.

It is next to impossible to persuade an evangelical to switch his allegiance to a mainline protestant church or to Catholicism and it’s next to impossible trying to convince a Trump cultist to vote for Joe Biden.

The only way Joe Biden will be able to read Donald Trump’s base is by denying his democratic ideals and tolerating the politics of division, racism misogyny, homophobia and xenophobia.

Biden shouldn’t make an effort to reach Trump’s base, instead he should denounce their bigotry and intolerance. Biden is wise enough not to sell his soul by making an outreach to Trump cultists who are anathema to everything the Democrat Party stands for.

As long as Biden remains true to the values of the Democrat Party, he doesn’t need the support of any MAGA morons to win the election.

Outrage: Trump’s Name to be Printed on Stimulus Checks

The Treasury Department has ordered President Donald Trump’s name be printed on stimulus checks the Internal Revenue Service is rushing to send to tens of millions of Americans, a process that could slow their delivery by a few days, senior IRS officials said.

It will be the first time a president’s name appears on an IRS disbursement, whether a routine refund or one of the handful of checks the government has issued to taxpayers in recent decades either to stimulate a down economy or share the dividends of a strong one.

Actually, the stable genius wanted his huge John Hancock to appear on every stimulus check, and he ordered the Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, who oversees the IRS, to allow him to formally sign the checks. But the president’s signature is not allowed on any check issued by the U.S. Treasury, so Mnuchin appeased his boss by printing his name on the checks instead.

Never mind that by having his signature printed on the stimulus checks he is injecting partisan politics into a bipartisan law that’s intended to help Americans of all political persuasions during the coronavirus pandemic.

And never mind that having the egomaniac’s name printed on the checks, at the last moment, will lead to a delay in issuing the first batch of checks.

Trump could care less that he is delaying issuing of checks to poor souls who desperately need the money to buy food and pay their rent. Keep in mind that most Americans have already had the stimulus payment deposited to their checking or savings accounts; it’s generally poor people who don’t have bank accounts who have to wait longer for their stimulus checks to be mailed to them.

This stimulus checks with Trump’s name fiasco illustrates how the commander-in-chief has handled the coronavirus pandemic crisis. Instead of putting the needs of Americans first, he cares only about how to exploit the crisis to burnish his brand and improve his ratings.

On November when you see Trump’s name on the ballot, I hope you will remember how he cared more about his image than he cared about voters health and welfare at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Evangelical Ignorance Isn’t Greater Than the Coronavirus

Evangelicals are the scofflaws of religion, they often flout the law and science to not only their own detriment, but also society at large.

Bishop Gerald Glenn made a Hollywood production out of flouting the social distancing guidelines by commanding his flock to stand to prove how many were at his church service despite warnings against gatherings of more than ten people.

He vowed to keep preaching unless “I’m in jail or the hospital”, he failed to mention or the morgue. An evangelical isn’t immune to the coronavirus because he’s full of the Holy Ghost or himself, and Glenn has succumbed to the deadly virus.

The minister’s spouse has tested positive for the virus, and God only knows how many members of his congregation will fall victim as well. Unfortunately, these religious fanatics have placed their entire community at risk.

Glenn proudly boasted: I firmly believe that God is larger than this dreaded virus. You can quote me on that.

It’s interesting how evangelicals believe in an invisible deity who acts in mysterious ways, by their own admission, but fail to take seriously an invisible virus that acts in very predictable ways.

It’s no mystery how the virus spreads, and the only way to mitigate the death toll is by religiously washing your hands and practicing social distancing.

An irrational religion isn’t greater than the coronavirus, and you can quote me on that.

When the Coronavirus Pandemic Ends There Will be Less Tolerance for Evangelicals Who Endanger Public Health and Democracy

The coronavirus pandemic is a major test for the nations and religions of the world. This virulent disease tests the legitimacy of our faith: whether we act rationality in accordance with common sense and the advice of physicians, scientists and lawmakers and practice social distancing or we endanger the lives of our neighbors by congregating in our places of worship.

Most places of worship have abided by the laws instituted by governors and the advice of physicians not to congregate in crowds larger than ten people. However, there have been scofflaws, notably fundamentalist religious organizations, whether they be evangelical Christians, Orthodox Jews or conservative Muslims.

These selfish religious fanatics believe that their parochial beliefs supersede the laws of man, even those put in place to protect society in a pandemic. Proving once again that religion is the greatest threat to democracy, science and the rule of law.

Most churches, synagogues and mosques have opted to put the health and wellbeing of their communities over their desire to worship God together by streamlining their worship services without the congregation in attendance. I’m not especially religious, but I say “Amen!”,

Other churches hold drive-in services, which do not violate social distancing rules. Typically, the church has a raised platform for speakers, with attendees remaining in their parked cars to listen to the music and preaching through an FM transmitter.

It seems like a perfect compromise for conducting a religious service in the time of a pandemic, but in most of these drive-in services the attendees honk their cars in lieu of shouting “Amen” and thereby disturbing the peace of nearby residents. Proving once again that many people of faith have little respect or consideration for people who don’t share their beliefs.

The coronavirus pandemic has exposed the conflict between the rational requirements of health and science and the oftentimes irrational requirements of religion. When this pandemic ends there will be a realignment of social customs (no more handshakes?) and a reassessment of the role religion plays in society. There will be less tolerance for evangelicals who are an existential threat to democracy and public health. And to that I say: Amen!

Trump’s Daily Coronavirus Briefings Serve Only to Heighten Our Despair and Anxiety

In his daily coronavirus briefings, Donald Trump lumbers to the podium like a whale beaching itself. A dying whale’s stench may permeate a couple of miles, but Trump’s odorous rhetoric repels a nation hungry for a few words of concern, compassion and care from their commander-in-chief.

Even Trump’s critics tune into his daily briefings in hopes of learning how they can cope with the pandemic that has turned their lives upside down, but his briefings quickly degenerate into the ranting and ravings of a sick man who has a virus more virulent than COVID-19.

Trump’s sickness has shriveled his heart and withered his soul and he is incapable of offering words of healing and hope to a devastated nation. Instead of seeing a country of 330 million souls living in fear of the deadly virus, he sees only himself and he drones on and on how the press fails to praise him for his excellent job handling the crisis.

Trump’s paranoia, spiritual poverty, vanity and narcissism serves only to heighten our anxiety. Trump would be well-advised to let Mike Pence and the team of physicians and scientists take control of the daily briefings, but he is too self-centered and arrogant to yield his daily moment in the spotlight. So, on top of the affliction the virus has wreaked on our nation, we must endure Trump’s daily shit show.

Trump Cultists Willing to Sacrifice the Elderly and Open the Economy in the Middle of Coronavirus Pandemic to Help Him Win Reelection

Cult leaders are usually young, virile, eloquent and handsome men who project power and authority and every smooth word they utter is accepted as Gospel by their followers.

Donald Trump is neither young nor virile and his face with a bulbous nose, sphincter-shaped mouth and orange complexion is repulsive and frightening but every incoherent and nonsensical statement that he utters is accepted as Gospel by his white evangelical sycophants.

Having a cult leader as commander-in-chief during a time of peace and prosperity was unnerving and unsettling, but having Trump in charge during a pandemic is absolutely horrifying.

Trump followers are effectively cult members and they won’t be swayed from supporting their Dear Leader for any reason. Before they became MAGA nutjobs white evangelicals were already conditioned to accept the ranting and ravings of televangelists as the Gospel, therefore it’s not surprising that they accept everything their false Messiah says as Gospel regardless how fantastical and incoherent his comments may appear to a normal person.

During a crisis cult members depend upon and trust their cult leader more than ever, and they are willing to open the economy at the urging of their leader in the middle of a pandemic. They are more than willing to sacrifice the elderly and other vulnerable citizens in order to save the economy and help the reelection prospects of their Messiah.

For Trump cultists what’s good for Trump is good for the country and if you challenge his medically unsound policies you are fighting against God.

Irish Father Joe Haugh proclaimed that there was a place reserved in heaven for Trump when he met him at his Doonbeg hotel and golf resort. Methinks the priest was speaking more as a politician than a theologian seeing as how the resort provided much-needed jobs as well as a significant boost to tourism.

The fact that Haugh’s conviction that Trump was going to heaven made headlines is a testament to the fact that there’s a lot less religious nutjobs in Ireland than there are in the United States.

Haugh, 87, was most likely suffering from dementia or drunk when he spoke his ill-fated words, what excuse do American evangelicals have?

I’m not a theologian or a politician, but I’m quite sure there’s a special place reserved in hell for Father Haugh and Donald Trump.

Stubborn Socialist Bernie Sanders Needs to Accept Reality and Quit Now!

In the cable news networks there’s saturation coverage of the coronavirus pandemic, and even some of the commercials are corona-themed.

It’s easy to forget that the Democratic primaries still haven’t concluded, although Joe Biden has an insurmountable delegate lead.

It’s even easier to forget that the stubborn socialist Bernie Sanders still hasn’t conceded and many Democrats fear that there will be a replay of the 2016 election when Sanders cost Hillary Clinton the election by his late exit and late endorsement.

Sanders insists that he has a narrow path to the nomination, but he refuses to say what it is. Let’s be clear, Sanders has a snowball’s chance in hell of securing the nomination, his narrow path is Biden dying before the general election.

Whoopi Goldberg, God bless her soul, grilled the stubborn SOB on “The View,” pressing him to explain how he could still capture the nomination. He avoided giving her an answer, instead weakly arguing that “people in a democracy have a right to vote and have a right to vote for the agenda that they think can work for America.

Earth to Bernie: The people have already voted. The electorate has already spoken. Biden has trounced Sanders in almost every primary since the South Carolina contest and Sanders trails Biden in every single national poll.

Give it up you stubborn socialist scum! In this corona pandemic crisis, you are needed in the Senate and not wasting your time on the campaign trail.

Trump’s Tasteless ‘Models’ Joke at Coronavirus Briefing

Donald Trump’s daily coronavirus briefings are so chock full of self-aggrandizement, faux-science, berating of reporters and condemnation of politicians who don’t praise him sufficiently, that it’s easy to miss some of his outrageous comments.

For example, the stable genius joked about being “involved in” models during a coronavirus briefing. Trump’s inappropriate quip came while he was commenting on the number of people who would die from COVID-19:

“The models show hundreds of thousands of people are going to die and you know hat I want to do? I want to come way under the model. The professionals did the models and I was never involved in a model. At least this kind of a model.”

Only a commander-in-chief who is totally clueless about the gravity of the pandemic that has the possibility of killing hundred of thousands of Americans would make such a tasteless joke.

Trump has been involved with plenty of models, porn stars and Playboy bunnies, in fact his wife is a former model, but now isn’t the time to remind a worried public about his shallowness.

Even Mike Pence, who is an evangelical Christian, and who usually treats every bit of nonsense that emanates from Trump’s sphincter-shaped mouth as the Gospel failed to smile or nod in agreement at his vile joke.

This tasteless joke highlights the fact that it’s time for CNN and MSNBC stop airing Trump’s daily coronavirus briefings in their entirety, they should only air the highlights, namely the comments by Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Trump’s Daily Coronavirus Press Briefing is a Sick Joke Compared to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Excellent Daily Briefing

President Donald Trump uses his daily coronavirus press briefing to berate reporters, praise his response to the pandemic, utter sheer nonsense and do what he excels at, lying. His press conferences are looking more and more like a MAGA rally.

In a crisis the nation needs a comforter-in-chief who speaks the truth with authority and defers to the medical experts, not a buffoon who contradicts the medical experts and peddles snake oil cures.

It’s not surprising that CNN, MSNBC and even Fox News have started to pull the plug on the press conferences before they mercifully come to an end.

Contrast Trump’s daily shit show with New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s daily coronavirus update. Cuomo is realistic and reassuring without being wildly optimistic, he comes across like a wise statesman concerned about the health of his constituents and not a crass politician obsessed with his poll ratings.

It’s not surprising that C-SPAN, CNN, MSNBC and even Fox News are airing Cuomo’s briefings in totality.

A lot less of Trump and a lot more of Cuomo is what America needs at this critical juncture in our history

Trump’s Silver Hair Shocks the World

You don’t have to be a professional caricature artist to draw a recognizable picture of Donald Trump. Even a child can color his face pumpkin-orange, paint his hair urine-yellow and make his mouth look like an arsehole. The only problem may be to find a page big enough to draw the morbidly obese buffoon.

The other day I tuned into Trump’s daily press briefing and I got he sense that there was something different about him. His complexion was still a ridiculous shade of orange and his mouth still looked like a sphincter, but his hair didn’t look like he had just undergone a golden showers orgy with Russian hookers.

Trump’s signature urine-colored wispy hair was now a subdued silver shade. His new hair color matches his somber tone; the stable genius finally realizes that the coronavirus is an existential threat.

But don’t get used to it, the histrionics will return and so will his urine-colored hair. His base loves him just the way he is: a clown who looks and acts the part.

Who Do You Think Biden Will Select As His Running Mate? Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren or Amy Klobuchar?

Joe Biden is the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, there’s only one other contender still standing, Sen. Bernie Sanders. But the stubborn socialist is more likely to die of a heart attack or to be incapacitated by a stroke in the next few months that he is to overtake Biden’s insurmountable delegate lead.

The only debate is over who Biden will pick as his running mate – and what criteria he should employ to make that most crucial decision.

Biden has pledged to choose a woman, but what else is he looking for in a running mate?

Biden may be tempted to choose Sen. Elizabeth Warren to entice progressives to join his moderate presidential campaign, but that would be a huge mistake. Biden, 77, has one foot on a gaffe and the other foot on the grave, and the last thing he should do is pick a fellow septuagenarian. Besides the only demographic that Warren will add is faux Native Americans and they compromise less than .00001 percent of the electorate.

Biden would be well-advised to pick a younger woman as his vice-presidential nominee, but not too young lest the notoriously handsy old pervert be unable to keep from groping her.

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto is a dark horse and selecting a Latina would inject his campaign with energy and excitement, but she’s not a national name and barely known outside of Nevada.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar is often mentioned as a likely nominee, but she’s too moderate, too bland and too weird (using a comb instead of a fork to eat salads) and she will add nothing to the ticket besides her vagina.

Former Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams name is reportedly in the mix, she’s female and black, but unfortunately, she’s too inexperienced. Her time will come, but it won’t be in 2020.

Sen. Kamala Harris presidential campaign withered on the vine fairly quickly, but at 55 she’s the right age and she’s the right color. In South Carolina African Americans resurrected Biden’s presidential campaign, and he would be wise to shown his appreciation by choosing a black woman as his running mate.

It usually doesn’t matter whom a presidential candidate chooses as his running mate, but not this time. If Biden doesn’t die in office, he might become too mental unfit (senile) and it’s imperative that he chooses a woman with gravitas, experience and wisdom.

Trump’s Disgusting Coronavirus Bill Photo Op

We have weeks and months to go before we win the war against the coronavirus pandemic and the devastation its wreaked on our economy.

On Friday Donald Trump signed a $2 trillion emergency bill into law that aims to mitigate the devastating effect the virus is having on our economy.

Needless to say, the signing wasn’t a somber and understated affair, Trump turned it into a photo op, and he posted an image on his Twitter account with the caption: We are marshalling the full power of government and society to achieve victory over the virus. Together, we will endure, we will prevail and we will WIN!

Indeed, it took the full power of government, Republicans and Democrats to craft this landmark legislation, but Trump didn’t invite Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi or Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer or any other Democrat to the signing ceremony.

For the photo op, the stable genius sat in the Oval Office with 15 people, all Republican and almost all old white men, close behind him and each other. I guess a photo op that Trump can use to advance his political career takes precedence over setting a good example by practicing social distancing.

Trump Visits Norfolk to See Off Hospital Ship Comfort Despite Travel Warnings

Despite repeated warnings from authorities against non-essential travel during the coronavirus pandemic, Donald Trump flew to Virginia on Saturday to bid bon voyage to the US Navy ship USNS Comfort as it departs for the epicenter of the virus in the United States, New York City.

Trump flying to Norfolk for a photo op is the epitome of non-essential travel, he could have simply tweeted the hospital ship bon voyage instead of travelling hundreds of miles to “kiss it goodbye.”

The physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, orderlies, x-ray technicians and other medical staff onboard the Comfort are desperately needed in the Big Apple, and it’s crying shame if their departure from Norfolk is delayed even for a few minutes for a Trump photo-op.

A morbidly obese septuagenarian with an underlying heart condition is the last person on Earth who should be engaging in non-essential travel.

As president of the United States Trump should be setting an example for everyone by sheltering-in-place at the White House. Most Americans are doing their patriotic duty by staying home during the coronavirus crisis in their modest homes, it’s not unreasonable to expect the stable genius to remain in his White House mansion.

Trump engaging in non-essential travel begs the question: is anything the freaking moron does essential? Wouldn’t we be better off, especially during a global pandemic, if Trump simply disappeared?

Trump’s Claim that ‘You’re Going to Have Suicides by the Thousands if the Economy Doesn’t Improve’ Demonstrates He Doesn’t Understand the Poor

During a recent virtual town hall on the Fox News network Trump claimed that “you’re going to have suicides by the thousands” if the economy doesn’t improve. Trump was trying to rationalize his desire to open the country for business as usual again on Easter by arguing that if he opens the country again on Easter thousands of elderly Americans will succumb to the coronavirus, but just as many will die via suicide if we keep the country under a lockdown and the economy continues its downward spiral.

What the stable genius fails to grasp is that ordinary Americans aren’t like billionaires, we don’t define our self-worth by the size of our savings accounts, many of us don’t even have a savings account.

Long before the coronavirus turned our world upside down, the working poor were already living paycheck to paycheck. Barely getting by is a way of life for us, and we aren’t going to commit suicide because the stock market crashes, we don’t even own any stock.

The poor are resilient, we graduated from the school of hard knocks and that’s prepared us for recessions and pandemics. We are too busy making ends meet to waste time contemplating suicide.

If we survived the Trump administration, we can survive the coronavirus pandemic, and the only light at the end of the tunnel for us is that Trump’s bumbling and stumbling response to the coronavirus will lead to his defeat in the general election.

Joe Biden may be as mentally impaired as Trump due to his advanced age, but he’s not a sociopath and things are bound to improve for all people, even the working poor, under his administration.

CNN and MSNBC Should Stop Televising Trump’s Daily Coronavirus Press Conference

If Bozo the Clown pontificated on the coronavirus pandemic his nonsense wouldn’t be dismissed out-of-hand if he was standing behind a lectern bearing the presidential seal.

By any measure, by any standard, Donald Trump is a blithering idiot who knows next to nothing about science or medicine, nevertheless when he speaks during his daily coronavirus briefing, he commands our attention by virtue of his office.

Since he is unable to hold any MAGA rallies in the age of the coronavirus, Trump is using his daily press conference to energize his base. He touts misinformation about drugs not approved by the FDA, offers inaccurate and overly optimistic assessments of the progress of testing and vaccine research, and generally does what he excels at, lying like a dog.

I tune out the stable genius whenever he speaks on any subject, but unfortunately his rosy outlook on the coronavirus pandemic encourages people, mainly his base, to be less careful with their personal hygiene and social distancing.

It’s time for CNN and MSNBC to stop airing his daily news conference, it does more harm than good to provide a master of propaganda with free air time. Fox News, the Trump’s administration propaganda arm, should be the only news outlet airing his deceitful rhetoric.

Ideally In the age of the coronavirus all politicians put aside their differences and work in concert to defeat the virus that attacks all of us indiscriminately. We have seen the Democratic governors of New York and California step up to the plate and work in close coordination with President Donald Trump.

Utah Senator Mitt Romney announced on Sunday that he would self-quarantine after fellow Senator Rand Paul announced he had tested positive for COVID-19. There is no love lost between Romney and Trump, the Utah senator was the only Senate Republican to break from the party and vote to convict Trump on abuse of power after the Senate impeachment trial.

How did Trump react to Romney’s self-quarantine? Did he disregard their long history of mutual enmity in order to present a united front to the country? Did he express any sympathy or concern? Are you freaking kidding me, we’re talking about the stable genius!

Trump couldn’t conceal his glee when a reporter informed him that Romney was in isolation at a coronavirus news conference. “Gee. That’s too bad”, replied the sorry excuse for the comforter-in-chief. The reporter asked Trump if he could “detect sarcasm” in his voice. “No,” the pathological liar answered. “None whatsoever.”

Romney is 73, and his wife, 70, has MS, and needless to say, they are especially vulnerable to the virus, and they need our sympathy and concern, and could do without sarcasm and hatred.

Catholic Church Forgives Sins of Those Stricken With Coronavirus! How Presumptuous!

The Catholic Church on Friday granted forgiveness — under certain conditions — for the sins of the faithful struck by the novel coronavirus.

A decree published by the Vatican also covers healthcare workers and those who pray for their wellbeing. Relatives who care for their sick family members may also be forgiven.

The conditions include the sick saying a certain number of prayers or following important celebrations from a distance.

American white evangelicals aren’t the only faithful who rely on thoughts, prayers and miracles to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

How presumptuous of the Catholic Church to forgive the sins of the faithful struck by the novel coronavirus. Who can forgive sins, but the Almighty? The Catholic Church, indeed no church, can forgive sins. Only the Almighty can forgive our transgressions.

What is the Catholic Church anyway, but a patriarchal and misogynist organization that doesn’t have a direct line to God. The prayers of the pope and two dollars won’t even buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks, let alone forgive your sins or cure you of the virus.

Reciting a dozen Hail Marys won’t cure you of the common cold, let alone the coronavirus. And they are as efficacious as singing the Barney the dinosaur song in washing away your sins.

The Catholic Church should be concerned with asking God to forgive them for the sins of homophobia, misogyny and a clergy rampant with pedophiles.

During a pandemic only a madman will look to the church for guidance, only physicians, scientists and wise politicians (I know they are in short supply) can deliver us.

The Coronavirus Won’t Disappear Until Donald Trump Disappears

The coronavirus pandemic has exposed the cluelessness and fecklessness of Donald Trump. The American public doesn’t expect our president to be a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon, but they do expect him to have the humility and modicum of intelligence to defer to physicians and scientists during a pandemic. The president should serve as the comforter-in-charge by making frequent press conferences to demonstrate that he’s on top of the crisis, and the public doesn’t have to worry because he’s following the advice of his medical team.

Trump has utterly failed in his role as comforter-in chief and most Americans are scared to death with a racist buffoon in charge during a pandemic. Only his evangelical base is comforted by the contradictory statements and tweets emanating from the White House.

A con artist learns to speak the lexicon that appeals to his marks, and Trump is an expert speaking the language of evangelicals. During the beginning of the pandemic Trump insisted that the disease was contained and that it was not a threat. “It’s going to disappear”, he told the American public on February 28th. “One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.” These ignorant words were received gratefully by evangelicals who value faith over science and empirical facts.

Rational Americans know that the virus isn’t eradicated or slowed down by thoughts, prayers and miracles. Without practical measures to slow it down, covid-19 will continue to spread exponentially for months. The spread can be slowed down if we practice good hygiene, avoid public spaces and generally limit our movement.

This pandemic may last for many more months, it’s imperative that we kick the racist buffoon out of office in November. Joe Biden isn’t perfect by any means, but he isn’t a megalomaniac narcissist, and he can see us through this pandemic.

Without His MAGA Rallies What’s Going to Happen to Trump?

The coronavirus pandemic has changed life as we know it, the new normal is empty sports arenas, concert halls, church buildings and no more political rallies.

All of a sudden, we live in a world without crowds. That’s a difficult adjustment for the average American, but it’s a devastating challenge for a cult leader who feeds off the energy of his MAGA crowds. After holding hundreds of rallies during the 2016 campaign and nearly 100 more since he was elected, Trump now realizes that it’s medical malpractice and political suicide to hold a MAGA rally during the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump needs MAGA rallies, he craves the validation and they’re the only places where he can bask in the pure unadulterated love from his devotees.

Trump is a toxic brew of racism, misogyny, homophobia and xenophobia, and he needs to vent his hatred to a crowd reception to such poison. Without his rallies he will shrivel and may die of a stroke or heart attack.

Without his adoring crowds Trump is like a televangelist without a crowd to pass the collection plates to, or a rock star playing in an empty venue without groupies throwing their panties on the stage. Without his crowds Trump is just an ugly billionaire with nobody to take his ridiculous and racist rhetoric seriously.

Let’s hope that the lack of MAGA rallies will deprive Trump of the oxygen he needs to thrive and prosper, and that he won’t have enough energy to win the general election.

Trump Sparks Outrage by Calling Coronavirus the ‘Chinese Virus’

In a time of crisis Americans look to their president for words of comfort, consolation and confidence that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

During a pandemic the president should defer to scientists and physicians to explain in detail how we should behave in order to survive.

At every step of the way Donald Trump has contradicted the medical experts that he chose as his team to deal with the coronavirus crisis. As a result, most Americans tune out the stable genius, and look to the experts for answers.

In this ill-advised tweet Trump is reassuring the corporations most affected by the coronavirus that he will support them, instead of reassuring a public terrified of the virus, and concerned about how they will pay the mortgage and buy food if they are unable to go to work. Trump cares more about Wall Street than he does about Main Street, and never mind the inner cities.

It is blatantly racist and xenophobic to label the coronavirus the “Chinese Virus”. It is implying that Chinese are genetically susceptible to viruses; this virus originated in China but it could have originated in Africa, Europe or America. The coronavirus isn’t a Chinese virus, it’s a worldwide virus that will be wiped out only if Chinese, Europeans, Arabs and Americans band together to confront their common enemy.

Trump is right in stating that we will be stronger together, but no thanks to the racism, misinformation and buffoonery emanating from his Twitter feed.

Trump Says He Tested Negative for the Coronavirus? Do You Believe Him?

President Donald Trump has tested negative for the coronavirus, according to a statement from the White House.

Trump took the test Friday after coming into recent contact with two individuals who have tested positive for the virus.

Remember, last year the White House physician declared the morbidly obese president with heart disease to be in “very good health” after he underwent a physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

After over three years and over 15,000 lies emanating from the White House, can we believe any statement released by the Trump administration?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump actually tested positive for the coronavirus, after all a 73-year old obese man with a pre-existing condition is susceptible to falling prey to viruses.

Trump is such a narcissist that he would be too embarrassed to admit that a “macho” man like him fell prey to the coronavirus, and he wouldn’t be concerned at all about infecting those around him.

It’s a sad state of affairs when we can’t trust the president in a time of crisis because he’s such a pathological liar.
