White Evangelicals Are a Perfect Fit for Donald Trump

Today’s evangelical ministers possess none of the oratory skills of the 19^th century London preacher Charles Spurgeon. Even atheists and agnostics attended his services, they were fascinated by his mastery of the English language, rhetorical skills and precise exposition.

Today’s evangelical preachers speak at a 6^th grade level and preach a prosperity Gospel or a soothing and comfortable theology that is easily digested by morons. They don’t rely on insightful thought and precise exposition but emotional appeals and catchy slogans and chants.

It’s no surprise that Donald Trump appeals to white evangelicals, he speaks at a 3^rd grade level and his mission to Make America Great Again resonates with their inherently racist beliefs.

Trump also relies on catchy slogans and chants, the call and response interplay between Trump and his supporters resembles the call and response at a Baptist church. When Trump waxes racist or xenophobic the crowd responds with chants of “Lock her up!”, “Build that Wall!” or Send her Back!”

Trump encourages these chants to normalize misogyny and to stoke prejudice, and we shouldn’t fool ourselves into thinking that they aren’t going to motivate his base enough to win him reelection in 2020.

The arc of the moral universe bends toward justice and demographics spell doom for the racist GOP in the long run, but racists may have one last hurrah in 2020.

Those of us who believe in equality, freedom and democracy must redouble our efforts to defeat Trump and his sycophants.

White Evangelicals are OK With Donald Trump Taking the Lord’s Name in Vain

At the now infamous North Carolina rally Donald Trump’s supporters echoed their messiah’s racist tweet by chanting “send her back” when he attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar. The lawmaker makes the perfect foil for Trump, she’s a progressive female Muslim woman of color.

Needless to say Trump didn’t channel John McCain by trying to silence the unpatriotic and racist chant. Instead he remained silent for 13 seconds, basking in the racism of his followers, before he continued speaking.

The controversial “send her back” crowd chant garnered all the headlines, but something else happened at the campaign event that’s been overlooked. As usual Trump sprinkled his speech with obscenities, now that’s not breaking news for we all know that a skunk is going to stink, a pig is going to wallow in mud and Trump is going to swear like a sailor on crack.

The hypocritical white evangelicals in the audience weren’t bothered by Trump’s swear words, they regard the vulgarities as part of his endearing charm. But this time Trump took the Lord’s name in vain, not once, but twice. Trump said “goddamn” twice, once when he quoted himself telling a businessman that he was going to be so goddam poor, if he didn’t support him, and the second time in reference to how hard America’s military was going to strike Iran, should their conflict escalate to a war.

Evangelicals go ballistic whenever a heathen takes the Lord’s name in vain, they see it as overwhelming evidence that they are in the presence of a demon-possessed individual. If a Trump supporter tried to win me over to his side, I could stop him dead in his tracks if I blurted: I will never support your Goddamn racist president. He would make the sign of the cross, and make a quick escape.

Trump’s sycophants don’t have any problems with his racism, vulgarity, greed, intolerance and vanity, and apparently they don’t have any issues with his taking the name of the Lord in vain either.

In fact, if Trump took a dump on the Bible in the middle of 5^th Avenue he wouldn’t lose more than a handful of his white evangelical supporters. His base thinks he’s above the law, and therefore unimpeachable, and a Messiah, and therefore any obscenity he utters is a fragrant scent to Almighty God.

Perfect Phrase to Describe Donald Trump: Occupant of the White House

Donald Trump has been called many things including Racist-in-Chief, short-fingered vulgarian, fucking moron and Cadet Bone Spurs, but the Occupant of the White House is perhaps the most fitting term.

Trump has no more intrinsic value than a potted plant in the Oval Office, he just takes up place. He’s an oxygen thief who sucks up all the oxygen in a room and replaces it with toxic gas emanating from his sphincter-like mouth.

The buffoon is as out of place in the White House as a prostitute in a convent or a skid row drunkard at a wine tasting at a vineyard.

Trump doesn’t embody or represent the gravitas, grace and governance of the White House, he’s merely the occupant.

I have never received anything of importance in a letter that was addressed to “occupant”, certainly not a check or a letter from a friend. Letters labeled “occupant” go directly to the waste can without being opened.

The occupant of the White House should be evicted hopefully via impeachment. But if the interloper is still around in 2020, we should vote him out of office.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

In December 2015 Dr Harold Bornstein released a letter that spoke of Donald Trump’s heath in glowing terms:

“If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”

But if a septuagenarian has a double chin, a huge pot belly and a butt large enough to set up a table for two, he’s morbidly obese and in failing health.

Donald Trump says racist things, post racist tweets, enacts racist policies, excuses other people’s racism, surrounds himself with racists and he’s endorsed by racists. Trump is a racist. Period. End of story.

After Trump’s latest blatantly racist tweet in which he told American congresswomen of color to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” many publications and almost all Republican leaders struggled to find ways to avoid directly calling Trump’s statement racist.

Hello! Telling American-born female congresswomen of color to go home is the textbook definition of racism. It’s Racism 101! Throughout the decades Chinese, Irish, Italian, Hispanic and Muslim immigrants have been told to go home. The unspoken implication is that it doesn’t matter if people of color were born in the United States, America is only for white people and they should return to the homes of their immigrant parents or grandparents.

Swedes Are Getting Microchip Implants in Their Hands to Replace Cash, Credit Cards! Amen!

Thousands of people in Sweden are having futuristic microchips implanted into their skin to carry out everyday activities and replace credit cards and cash. More than 4,000 people have already had the sci-fi-ish chips, about the size of a grain of rice, inserted into their hands — with the pioneers predicting millions will soon join them as they hope to take it global. Like glorified smartwatches, the chips help Swedes monitor their health and even replace keycards to allow them to enter offices and buildings.

Sweden is a post-Christian nation, although 57.0% of Swedes belonged to the Church of Sweden, only 2% of the church’s members regularly attend Sunday services. Most of the religious people in Sweden are Muslim and Eastern Orthodox Christian immigrants. In short, Sweden is a secular society unfettered by religious superstitions and myths.

That’s why it’s not surprising that thousands, and hopefully soon millions of Swedes are having microchips implanted into their skin to replace credit cards and cash. There are no evangelical televangelists on Swedish TV warning Swedes that the implants are the mark of the Beast, and a sign of the End Times. There are no fundamentalist politicians proposing legislation to ban implants. Swedes don’t have any religious reservations about getting implants, they don’t see the technology as a mark of allegiance to Satan.

When implants are available in the United States, I will be first in line to get one. Not only will they make identity theft almost impossible, but they are invaluable as devices to store medical records. If I’m in an auto accident, and rushed unconscious to the hospital, I want the physicians to know that I’m allergic to penicillin, and need high blood pressure medication.

There will be furious resistance to microchip implants in America from white evangelical preachers and politicians. How ironic that evangelicals who worship a vulgar and racist president who resembles the Antichrist, have their panties in a twist over a benign microchip implant that they superstitiously believe is the mark of the Beast.

Anyway, I’m down with microchip implants, I prize convenience and security over superstition.

Trump is Right! Paul Ryan is Weak, Ineffective & Stupid. Just Like Trump

Trump is a master of projection, “weak, ineffective & stupid” are of course characteristics that perfectly describe the short-fingered vulgarian.

It wasn’t Paul Ryan and the spineless Republican leaders who killed the Grand Old Party, they merely looking on helplessly as Trump eviscerated the party and then pissed all over the entrails.

However, Trump is spot on, Paul Ryan is weak, ineffective and stupid. Why is it that Republican congressional leaders only discover that they have vocal chords, a spine, and gonads after they leave office?

Trump turned his fury on Ryan after an interview the former Speaker of the House gave to Tim Alberta for the book “American Carnage.” In the book Ryan is quoted as saying:

“We’ve gotten so numbed by it all. Not in government, but where we live our lives, we have a responsibility to try and rebuild. Don’t call a woman a ‘horse face.’ Don’t cheat on your wife. Don’t cheat on anything. Set a good example.”

These words would have had so much more impact if he had uttered them when he was the Speaker of the House, now they just sound like the words of a retired politician who is striving to remain relevant.

In order to get his precious tax cuts that benefited the wealthy Ryan sacrificed his soul and his legacy. STFU Ryan, we don’t need to hear from weak moral cowards!

A MAGA Wedding From the Pit of Hell

Audra Johnson and her husband Jeff, from Kalamazoo, Michigan, had a ‘Make America Great Again’-themed wedding, with red, white and blue decor. They posted about it using the hashtag #MAGAPatriotWedding, to pay tribute to President Donald Trump. While the bridesmaids were dressed in patriotic blue, it was Audra’s wedding dress that had the public turning heads. After wearing a plain white wedding gown for the ceremony, Audra changed into another gown for photos which featured the words ‘Make America Great Again’ down the front of the dress and ‘Trump’ in sparkly red letters on the back.

A marriage is a spiritual, legal, and romantic union of two individuals. The couple becomes one entity before God, their friends and family. Introducing politics to this holy equation cheapens the ceremony and corrupts the foundation of their relationship. A marriage based on politics is destined to fail, only love can bind two persons together for a lifetime.

In the wedding photographs that the bride posted to Facebook I don’t see a single person of color, I see only plump white people decked out in red, white and blue. There is no place for black, brown or rainbow flags in a MAGA wedding and a MAGA society, there is only room for white folks dressed up like patriotic idiots.

At least they could have hired Diamond and Silk to provide the entertainment, their brand of coonery would been much appreciated by these patriotic racists.

I long for the day when MAGA hats and MAGA-themed weddings will rightfully be considered as racist as KKK hoods and KKK-officiated weddings.

New York Magazine Releases a Trump-Free Issue

“People may say the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about at all. So, expect a Twitter rant from President Donald Trump about New York magazine’s July 8-21 edition. It doesn’t mention him at all, spare its front cover announcing it’s ‘an entire issue with nothing about Trump!’”

The New York Magazine isn’t shy about holding Trump accountable, last month the magazine published an excerpt from advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s memoir in which she accused then real estate developer of raping her in a dressing room of the New York department store Bergdorf Goodman in the mid-1990s.

Trump has such an outsized personality and he’s always opining about every subject under the sun on Twitter, it’s difficult for a magazine or newspaper to ignore him completely in any particular issue. He’s also the President of the United States and Leader of the Free Word, which makes every incoherent speech and nonsensical tweet breaking news.

However, I hope magazines, newspapers, web sites and even cable news outlets follow the New York Magazine’s example and have a Trump-free day at least once a year. The constant onslaught of Trump-related news is killing our brain cells and poisoning our hearts, we need an occasional break from the insanity.

Trump has been featured on the cover of Time Magazine several times, yet he still has a fake issue of the beloved magazine hanging in one of his resorts. Trump is a publicity whore, and it’s incumbent upon the media to starve the beast every once in a while.

I don’t normally but the New York Magazine, or any magazine for that matter, but I will buy the July 8^th issue as a way of saying: Good Job!

Mike Pence Launches ‘Latinos for Trump’ Voting Drive

Mike Pence launched “Latinos for Trump” in Miami on Tuesday, a quixotic effort by the Trump re-election campaign to motivate Latino voters in advance of the 2020 election.

Miami, a stronghold of conservative Cuban-Americans, is one of the few cities where Pence could hold a “Latinos for Trump” event without being laughed out of town.

“I promise you from the first day of this administration, President Trump has been fighting for the values that are really synonymous with Hispanic and Latino immigrants. Hard work, faith, family, freedom, educational choice, and the American way,” he had the audacity to say.

Pence’s lying rhetoric may have resonated with Miami’s middle class Cuban community, but the 1.2 million Puerto Ricans living in the Sunshine State, many who fled from Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, surely recognized it as unadulterated BS.

Since the day Trump announced that he was running for president by branding Mexican immigrants as rapists and criminals, he’s been on a mission from God to disenfranchise Hispanic Americans and to demonize Latino immigrants.

Trump separates children from their parents at the border, depriving them of freedom and basic necessities by housing them in concentration camps. How the hell is that synonymous with respecting Latino values of freedom, family and faith?

Latinos suffering under the Trump regime are already motiving to vote in the 2020 election, and we’re going to kick that racist to the curb.

Don’t Seek Advice From Your Clergy, Trust in Google

“A large majority of Americans make important decisions without calling on religious leaders for advice, according to a new survey released Monday by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The poll finds three-quarters of American adults rarely or never consult a clergy member or religious leader, while only about a quarter do so at least some of the time.”

Americans have lost faith in institutions, we take any pronouncement from government, financial institutions, academia, organized labor, the media and even organized religion with a grain of salt.

The Gospel truth ain’t what it used to be, we vet everything the pastor says for truth and accuracy on Google. Indeed, Google is omniscient and omnipotent and more accessible than the Almighty.

Polls have shown a steep rise over decades in the share of Americans identifying as unaffiliated with a religion. But even people who attend church on a regular basis rarely consult their minister when they’re faced with life-changing decisions.

After all, there’s a good chance your parish priest is a pedophile and your evangelical minister supports Trump. Why on Earth would a sane person rely on the judgement of a priest who’s a sexual deviant or an evangelical reverend who lacks the discernment to realize that Trump is a corrupt and vulgar racist?

No man is an island, and we all need friends and family members that we can talk to when dealing with stressful situations, and we should avail ourselves of their wisdom and advice. There’s no need to seek advice from your spiritual mentor, unless he also happens to be your friend.

And of course you can also seek comfort and wisdom from the Almighty Himself, whether it’s the Jehovah deity of the Bible or the artificial intelligence enhanced Google.

British Ambassador Criticizes ‘Clumsy and Inept’ Trump Administration in Leaked Memos

Diplomatic cables sent from the United Kingdom’s ambassador to the United States back to London describe President Donald Trump as inept, insecure and incompetent, a UK government official confirmed Saturday to CNN. While foreign envoys of all nations are often candid in classified dispatches back home, there are periodic episodes when such assessments leak, causing great political embarrassment. Months of efforts by the ambassador, Kim Darroch and his diplomats to build ties and trust with Trump and his political acolytes will be undermined.

Diplomats are masters of discretion, subtlety and finesse, when meeting face-to-face with dictators and tyrants they are courteous, polite, and well diplomatic. Remember when Donald Trump convened his first full Cabinet meeting since taking office and the heads of very major government agency lavished praise on their boss? That’s how diplomats treat even the most ruthless heads of state, they must swallow their tongues and their pride. A diplomat would address the Antichrist himself as worthy opponent of the Almighty, and as the distinguished ambassador of Satan.

The British government released the following statement:

“The British public would expect our Ambassadors to provide Ministers with an honest, unvarnished assessment of the politics in their country. Their views are not necessarily the views of Ministers or indeed the government. But we pay them to be candid. Just as the US Ambassador here will send back his reading of Westminster politics and personalities.”

Ambassadors are the epitome of civility and discretion when interacting with foreign officials, but when reporting back home to government officials they are expected to be brutally honest. I’m convinced that there isn’t a single foreign ambassador who hasn’t told his superiors back home that Trump is a fucking moron who’s clueless about geopolitics.

Journalists aren’t diplomats and it’s incumbent upon them to be candid and unbiased when reporting on the Trump administration. And as for opinion columnists and bloggers, we are free to render our opinions, and my opinion is that Trump is a pathological liar, serial predator, blithering idiot and life-long racist.

Trump Said Revolutionary War Troops ‘Took Over the Airports’ in His Fourth of July Speech

You don’t have to be a stable genius, a rocket scientist or a historian to know that the American Revolution took place more than a century before the invention of the airplane.

We’re accustomed to Trump spewing outrageous lies and sheer nonsense, but why in the name of Sam Hill did the fucking moron blather on about the Continental Army taking over the airports, I presume with their muskets?

Well, you don’t have to be a brain surgeon to realize that Trump is senile, and it’s only a matter of time before he interrupts his speech to summon Mike Pence to come on stage and change his diapers.

On Friday Trump placed the blame on the teleprompter malfunctioning, and it very well may be true that the rain fried the teleprompter, but did it also short-circuit his brain? Old age and not a little rain is responsible for Trump’s brain frequently misfiring. A tornado could hit the stage while Obama delivers a speech on the 4^th of July, and the former president wouldn’t prattle on about George Washington’s army taking over the airports.

Trump has often mocked his Democratic opponents like Hillary Clinton for using teleprompters, so it’s mighty rich of him to blame a malfunctioning teleprompter for his huge gaffe.

If Trump’s mind is so hopelessly addled now, can you imagine how demented he will be when, if God forbid, he’s reelected to a second term?

Jerry Falwell Jr’s Reprehensible Treatment of Russell Moore

“Russell Moore, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, tweeted, ‘The reports of the conditions for migrant children at the border should shock all of our consciences. Those created in the image of God should be treated with dignity and compassion, especially those seeking refuge from violence back home. We can do better than this.’

He posted the comments with a news report saying the government had moved hundreds of children from a Texas border facility after being detained in perilous conditions.

Jerry Falwell Jr., president of Liberty University and an influential evangelical voice, replied: ‘Who are you @drmoore? Have you ever made a payroll? Have you ever built an organization of any type from scratch? What gives you authority to speak on any issue? I’m being serious. You’re nothing but an employee – a bureaucrat.’”

A little background:

Russell Moore is an evangelical theologian, ethicist and preacher. Moore has spoken out against the display of the Confederate flag, he has called on evangelicals to support refugees, and he’s a leading Trump critic. In short, as a prophet of God he speaks truth to power and has compassion and love for the “least of these.”

Jerry Falwell Jr. is a lawyer, businessman and president of Liberty University. He’s never built an organization of any type from scratch, he inherited his fame, power and prestige from his dad, Jerry Falwell, best known as the founder of the Moral Majority. Junior is the most famous evangelical Trump sycophant, and instead of condemning Trump’s racism, profanity and amorality, he twists scripture to justify the president’s evil policies.

True to his calling Moore spoke out against the inhumane way asylum seekers are being treated, and pleaded for them to be treated with dignity and compassion.

Falwell in turn attacked Moore, arguing that he had no authority to speak on the matter because he wasn’t a wealthy entrepreneur. What kind of twisted logic is that, especially coming from an evangelical leader? By his reasoning Jesus Christ, who didn’t have a place to lay his head, was unqualified to be a public speaker.

I live on a fixed income and I’m not a theologian, but as a citizen of the United States and as a follower of the teachings of Christ I have every right to condemn the immorality and corruption of the Trump administration.

Falwell is an embarrassment to the Christian faith, and he’s unworthy to shine the shoes of a true man of God like Russell Moore.

Every true Christian should be condemning the cruelty and inhumanity of Donald Trump, and speaking out on the behalf of refugees and immigrants who come to our country to escape poverty and violence and to taste liberty and freedom.

Anderson Cooper Coins the Perfect Nickname for Donald Trump: Dictator-Curious

Leave it to gay CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper to come up with the perfect phrase to describe Donald Trump’s affinity for murderous dictators, “dictator-curious.”

This phrase is similar to bi-curious, and certainly Cooper and indeed most of us are familiar with men and women who claim to be bi-curious. It’s my opinion that most of the men who claim to be bi-curious are latent homosexuals who lack the courage to come out as proud gay men.

These bi-curious men will engage in perfunctory sex with their wife or girlfriend, but go wild when they attend a gay bar or club to “experiment” with same-sex attraction.

Trump is indeed “dictator-curious”, he tolerates meetings with our allies like German Chancellor Angela Merkel or British Prime Minister Theresa May, but gets giddy with excitement when meeting a dictator like Russian President Vladimir Putin or North Korean Dear Leader Kim Jong-un.

Trump is miserable being President of the United States, he wishes he could rule by executive action, without having his policies challenged by Congress and the courts.

Trump dreams at night of jailing or killing pesky reporters, exiling Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to San Francisco, and firing the liberal Justices of the Supreme Court.

I don’t think Trump has a poster of a Hustler model in his private bathroom in the White House, methinks the dictator-curious buffoon he has a picture of a smiling Putin.

July 4th National Mall Celebration Will Be a Real Shi* Show

The July 4^th National Mall celebration has always been a nonpartisan affair with politics taking a backseat to patriotism. Presidents have avoided making an appearance at the National Mall, opting instead to attend events honoring veterans. For example one year President Obama hosted a barbeque on the White House south lawn for 1,200 members of the US Armed Forces.

Tanks and other military hardware will be stationed around the National Mall, and the Blue Angels will do a fly over. American military might is impressive, but our democracy, freedom and diversity is even more impressive, and that’s what should be highlighted on Independence Day.

However, this year the annual event is poised to be one of the gaudiest, over-the-top displays of cult of personality, jingoism and militarism in American History. Trump has dubbed the celebration a “Salute to America”, but it would be more accurate to call it a “Salute to Donald Trump.”

I’m surprised Trump didn’t go full Kim Jong-un and demand that the ultimate phallic symbol, inter-continental missiles be included in the parade.

Trump will deliver a speech turning the holiday into a campaign event, and I hope the broadcast networks and the cable news outlets will have the good sense to boycott the circus. Of course the Trump-friendly Fox News will cover the so-called “Salute to America.”

I have plans for the 4^th of July, and they include eating hot dogs, waving the flag and watching fireworks, but they don’t include watching Trump’s shit show.

In spite of a series of gaffes and missteps in the last couple of weeks Joe Biden entered the first debate of the primary season as the clear frontrunner.

Biden felt emboldened by the heretical belief shared by most Democrats that the Democratic presidential hopefuls shouldn’t attack each other lest they weaken the eventual nominee. But politics ain’t beanbag and the natural order reasserted itself as the first debate saw most of the candidates takings swipes at the consensus leader.

But it wasn’t Bernie Sanders as expected who dealt the fatal blow, it was Kamala Harris who eviscerated the old doddering politician in a calm and strategic manner. “I do not believe you are a racist,” Harris told Biden, as she unveiled her attack, preemptively protecting herself from attacks by his supporters that she was accusing Obama’s veep of being a racist. She went on to say “it’s personal and it was actually hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States Senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country.”

Throughout Harris’ scolding Biden had the chastened look of a Catholic schoolboy being reprimanded by a nun brandishing a ruler. Biden’s response is inconsequential and irrelevant, Harris did to Biden what Lloyd Bentsen did to Dan Quayle.

The most humiliating experience in Biden’s political career could have been avoided if he had simply apologized and admitted he made a mistake immediately after invoking segregationists as an example of being able to get along with everyone. Refusing to apologize only works for one politician, namely Donald Trump, because his base will forgive him for anything, literally anything.

“Anyway, my time is up,” Biden said, as he finished his dramatic interaction with Harris. He obviously meant that his allotted time from NBC moderators was up, but the television audience was thinking: Your time is up, you doddering old fool! We need a young, preferably minority woman to face off against Trump.

When a Democrat running for president invokes segregationists as an example of getting along with political foes his time is up! When a Democratic politician uses states’ rights to defend his position on busing his time is up. When a presidential hopeful is 76-years-old and seemingly incapable of speaking coherently his time is up!

Donald Trump is Above the Law in Real Life and on Twitter

Dozens of women have accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct including ogling, harassment, and even rape. Trump has vehemently denied all these allegations, but who are you going to believe, women who have nothing to gain by coming forward or the cretin who was caught on tape boasting:

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

Last Friday, E. Jean Carroll, a popular advice columnist, alleged that Trump (then a businessman) had raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in 1996. The story has almost disappeared from the news, eclipsed by the latest Trump outrages, including him jokingly reprimanding Putin not to interfere with the 2020 elections.

Trump has gotten away with sexually assaulting women since the 1970’s, he has not been accountable by the criminal justice system, or by Republican leaders. For all practical purposes, he’s above the law.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report chronicled multiple contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian government officials, and sets out ten incidents in which Trump possibly obstructed justice. Mueller failed to indict Trump of obstruction only because according to Justice Department regulations a sitting president can’t be indicted.

Trump, Attorney General Robert Barr and Congressional Republicans falsely claimed that the report exonerated Trump from charges of collusion and obstruction. Trump has learned nothing from his ordeal, he recently said that he would accept dirt on a political opponent from a representative of a foreign country, without notifying the FBI. For all practical purposes, he’s above the law.

Trump should be impeached for obstruction of justice and a hundred other reasons, but the Democratic-led House of Representatives refuses to impeach him for political considerations. Congress is acting as if he’s above the law.

Trump acts as if he doesn’t have to answer to anyone, he usurps Congressional power by issuing executive actions, and ridicules the other co-equal branch of government, the Judiciary. He lavishly praises tyrants, like Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un the Dear Leader of North Korea, he envies their authoritarian systems of government that allows them to act without restraints.

In the real world Trump acts as if he’s a king, because for all practical purposes he is above the law.

Even in the virtual world Trump acts as if he’s above the law. On the social media platforms, especially Twitter, he defames, insults and ridicules his political opponents. Any regular person who acted like Trump on Twitter would have been permanently banned, but he can spread false conspiracy theories, viciously attack people, and outright lie without facing any consequences.

Finally, after millions of complaints that Trump violates the site’s rules prohibiting harassment, and hateful conduct Twitter plans to police Trump’s tweets, adding warning label for “abusive behavior.” Users will have to click on the warning to see the hidden tweet.

Too little, too late! Trump shouldn’t be above the law in real life or online, he should be treated like everyone else.

Donald Trump: Racist, Liar and Rapist

In 2016 Americans displayed remarkable wisdom and discernment in electing a pathological liar, brazen racist, clueless moron and a serial sexual predator as President of the United States and Leader of the Free World.

A rapist thinks that everyone is a potential rapist and that only fear of getting caught prevents the average man from defiling a woman. That’s why Trump didn’t have any reservations about branding an entire nationality, Mexicans, as rapists.

Advice columnist E. Jean Carroll accused Trump of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room 23 years ago. Trump has vehemently denied the assault, explaining that “she’s not my type.” If someone accused me of rape my default defense wouldn’t be “she’s not my type.” I would vehemently deny the accusation, explaining that I would never violate a woman in such a violent and evil manner.

Rape isn’t a crime of passion, a rapist doesn’t search for the most beautiful or most scantily clad woman to assault. Rape is a crime of control, a rapist looks for the most vulnerable woman to abuse and humiliate.

“She’s not my type” is a phrase that until a rapist would utter, and it’s no surprise that defense/confession emanated from the sphincter-like mouth of the predator-in-chief.

About two dozen women have made credible accusations of sexual assault against Trump, Carroll is the latest and I’m sure she won’t be the last. I believe the women over the chronic liar, who was caught on tape bragging about grabbing women by their genitals.

Surprise: Racist Donald Trump Against Reparations

President Donald Trump said in an interview on Monday that he thinks the concept of the federal government giving reparations to the descendants of slaves is ‘unusual’ and ‘interesting’ but he doesn’t ‘see it happening.’

Reparations is a hot button issue on the campaign trail, most of the two dozen or so presidential Democratic candidates support the idea. It was only a matter of time before the stable genius piped in with his thoughts on the controversial idea.

I am “shocked, shocked, shocked” that Trump is against reparations! Who would have thunk that the most racist president in modern history could would express misgivings about the federal government giving reparations to the descendants of slaves. Who would have imagined that the chief executive who has slashed safety net programs that the disenfranchised poor, most of them minorities, rely on isn’t in favor of reparations? Who could have predicted that the man who has delayed replacing the genocidal racist Andrew Jackson with the abolitionist Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill until he is out of office would look askance at the prospect of reparations? Who could have conceived that the real estate developer who called for the death penalty for the Central Park Five who were unjustly accused would be against justice for the descendants of slaves?

On June 19, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties held a hearing to discuss legislation introduced by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, calling for the creation of a commission to study the lasting effects of slavery’s legacy and what could be done to make amends.

We can only hope that Trump won’t be president if and when there’s a vote in Congress on giving reparations to the descendants of slaves.

Is Donald Trump Going to Replace Mike Pence With Nikki Haley?

“The headline of an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Monday says it all: Trump-Haley 2020.

The time has come to for President Donald Trump to replace Vice President Mike Pence on the 2020 ticket with former American Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, concludes Andrew Stein, a former president of the New York City Council and a Democratic supporter of the President. Here’s Stein’s key point:

‘It’s too late for Mr. Trump to revamp his political personality. But with the 2016 election in the past, Nikki Haley on the ticket could tamp down the antipathy for Mr. Trump that seems to afflict so many moderate and Republican-leaning women.’”

On November 7, 2018, Trump confirmed that Mike Pence would be his vice presidential running mate in 2020. But Trump is notoriously fickle and he may change his mind a dozen times before he begins to campaign in earnest after Labor Day.

The stable genius takes a perverse delight in breaking political conventions and his base wouldn’t be particularly upset if he dumped the obsequious Pence for the more independent Haley.

Trump selected the pious evangelical zealot, Mike Pence, to be his running mate to sure up his evangelical support. By appointed two conservative judges to the Supreme Court and nearly 200 conservative judges to federal appeals courts, it’s a safe bet that white evangelicals will vote for Trump come hell or high water. Trump can replace Pence with any conservative Republican without losing any votes.

This weekend on an interview on Meet the Press Chuck Todd asked Trump whether Mike Pence is 100% on your ticket in 2020, and Trump responded:

“Well, look, look — 100%, yes. He’s been a terrific vice president. He’s my friend.”

Trump may very well have been telling the truth, but if a miracle happens and Pence grows some balls any criticizes his boss for any of his myriad indiscretions or insane policy proposals he may very well be replaced by Haley or someone else.

The pertinent question is whether replacing Pence with Haley would guarantee Trump victory in 2020. It’s incredibly sexist to assert that replacing Pence with a female candidate, however qualified she may be, would motivate women to vote for Trump. Trump has already proven that he’s sexist beyond redemption and suburban female voters aren’t going to vote for Trump just because there’s a woman on the ticket.

In fact after four years of chaos, confusion and buffoonery nobody in his or her right mind will vote for Trump in 2020, regardless whom he chooses as his running mate.

Donald Trump Isn’t a Strategic Counter Puncher, He’s a Moron Who Punches Down

Donald Trump’s skin is famous for its orange hue and for its fragile and thin nature.

You’d think that the President of the United States and the Leader of the Free World wouldn’t notice when an obscure blogger, D-list celeb or a hack politician criticized him, but Trump goes ballistic over every perceived slight.

Trump has been labeled a strategic counter puncher but actually he’s a master at punching down, and when you’re the commander-in-chief you’re always punching down.

When the stable genius punches down it lowers his status and elevates his critics. Trump’s punching down strategy exposes him as a thin-skinned narcissist and provides his detractors with a platform to broadcast their views.

When the fucking moron responds to his critics he doesn’t do so by rebutting their arguments by appealing to reason and logic, but by engaging in ad hominem attacks. The perfect arena for Trump to eviscerate his enemies is the toxic cesspool, Twitter. This social media site was custom-made for the grammar-impaired vulgarian.

Trump isn’t going to be brought down by a vicious viral tweet, but at the ballot box. We would be well-advised to expend less energy verbally attacking Trump, and more energy mobilizing our forces to remove him from office by any means necessary.

I imagine the devil has reserved a special place in hell for Trump: A room with floor-to-ceiling windows where he is surrounded by snickering demons firing toxic tweets at him. No matter how fast Trump’s little fingers move he can never keep up with all the insults targeting him.

Trumpism Won’t be Defeated Until White Evangelicals are Discredited

Donald Trump received more than 80 percent support from evangelicals in 2016. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign may have been a publicity and narcissistic enterprise, but white evangelicals considered it a moral crusade to Make America Great Again by turning back the clock on women’s reproductive freedom, gay rights and racial equality.

White evangelicals are very pleased with the two far-right Supreme Court judges that were appointed by Trump, and not to mention the close to two hundred judges he has appointed to federal appeals courts. They are ecstatic over the setbacks that Trump had dealt to the LGBTQ communities. They have ramped up their efforts to reelect their False Messiah, the moral reprobate is the perfect presidential candidate for evangelicals who are committed to their so-called family friendly causes.

The usual evangelical suspects have earmarked hundreds of millions in their crusade to reelect Trump. Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition is spending tens of millions on a voter mobilization effort that aims to register 1 million Christians in key battleground states. The Susan B. Anthony List, an anti-abortion rights group, has a budget of $41 million this campaign cycle to reelect Trump and other anti-abortion candidates. The Family Research Council is also putting their money where their mouth is and pouring millions into the ungodly mission to reelect the short-fingered vulgarian.

It is manifestly clear that Trump could not have won without the support of white evangelicals, and it’s incumbent upon Democrats, Independents and Republicans who haven’t swallowed the Kool-Aide to redouble their efforts to defeat Trump and destroy the white evangelical movement.

Patriots can take these steps to delegitimize, demoralize and defeat white evangelicals:

Ridicule

There are no sacred cows, and where is it written that religion should be exempt from ridicule? Sanctimonious evangelicals with their penchant for hypocrisy, racism, and misogyny make such easy targets.

Demonstrate

Why in the holy name of God aren’t there any protests at megachurches? White evangelicals support the chaos of the Trump administration, so why not bring some chaos to their churches?

Tax-exempt status

If white evangelical churches are acting like political organizations why not yank their tax-exempt status? I think it’s an abomination that my tax money is being used to support churches that support homophobia, misogyny and xenophobia.

Donald Trump Has an Excellent Chance of Being Reelected

Donald Trump is not a stable genius. He’s an unstable moron. He’s the living manifestation of Murphy’s Law. He has no master plan. He’s not playing three dimensional chess. He’s playing online checkers against a computer set at bonehead level of difficulty. He doesn’t have the intellectual capacity to think three moves ahead. He relies on his gut to navigate the game board. He didn’t win the presidency because of his oratorical brilliance or intelligent campaign strategy. His anti-establishment rhetoric and anti-immigrant message resonated with just enough white evangelicals, blue-collar workers and latent racists to seize the race from the elitist and universally despised Hillary Clinton. Lightening can strike twice. Donald Trump can win reelection. White evangelicals are even more enamored with their False Messiah than they were four years ago. Racists are more emboldened to support the white nationalist-in-chief. God does have a twisted sense of humor. We do get the political leaders that we deserve. A Democrat-controlled House of Representatives that is too cowardly to impeach Trump lacks the moral authority to persuade the electorate to throw the bum out of office. I have the demoralizing feeling that two years from now Democrats will still be debating whether or not to impeach Trump.

Donald Trump, Israel and White Evangelicals

The modern day state of Israel resembles apartheid era South Africa more than it does the Biblical state of Israel. It’s an article of faith for white evangelicals to support Israel religiously even though the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is politically corrupt and morally degenerate. He treats the peace process with disdain, and the Palestinians in the occupied territories with contempt.

White evangelicals are an integral part of Trump’s base, and he knows just how to play them. He pandered to these religious extremists by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol, and relocating the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The cherry on top of the cake was when he recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

Netanyahu knows just how to play Trump, in gratitude to Trump for blessing Israel with all of these diplomatic gifts without having to make any concession to the Palestinians in return he named a settlement in the Golan Heights after him.

At a ceremony to inaugurate the new settlement, Netanyahu stood in front of a gold-trimmed sign that reads “Ramat Trump”, and said:

“We are proud to have the opportunity to establish a new community, and also to honor a big friend…Many years have passed since a new settlement was established in the Golan Heights. Today it is happening: We are making an important step toward the rise of Ramat Trump. It will proudly carry the name of a very great friend of the State of Israel, and I am also very proud to say a great friend of mine—President Donald Trump.”

The only part of the proposed settlement that has been built is the gold-trimmed sign, but that’s enough to stroke Trump’s ego. Trump must realize that in his own country very few public buildings, if any at all, will be named after him when he leaves office, so I’m sure he appreciates Netanyahu’s generous gesture.

Israel will never achieve the grandeur of its Biblical era until it has a Prime Minister who resembles King Solomon more than P. W. Botha, and America won’t be great again until it has a president who resembles Abraham Lincoln more than Richard Nixon.

Donald Trump Treats Michael Mulvaney Like an Impertinent Coffee Boy

Donald Trump is the worst boss in the realm of politics, in comparison Amy Klobuchar is as understanding and patient with her office staff as Sherriff Andy Taylor is with his bungling deputy, Barney Fife.

The stable genius expects devotion and loyalty from his staff, and in return he treats even high ranking officials like coffee boys who should be grateful to be in his presence.

The short-gingered vulgarian brusquely ordered White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney to leave the Oval Office when he had the temerity to cough during a televised interview with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos.

“If you’re going to cough, please leave the room,” Trump blurted as he attempted to answer a question about House Democrats’ attempts to subpoena his tax records. The interview, taped last week in part in the Oval Office, was broadcast on Sunday night.

Trump was so upset by what he perceived as an unforgiveable act of disrespect that he continued to express his displeasure to Stephanopoulos.

“I don’t like that, you know, I don’t like that. If you’re going to cough, please leave the room. You just can’t, you just can’t cough. Boy, oh boy.”

God only knows what would have happened to the hapless Chief of Staff had he passed gas in the presence of his master! I’m guessing he would have ordered Mike Pence to remove his belt, take off Mulvany’s pants and give him the whipping of his life.

Even though interviewing Trump would be the highlight of my life as a blogger, I think I’d rather eat a salad with Klobuchar using combs instead of forks than ask Trump anything.
