Donald Trump has the Midas touch in reverse, everything he touches turns to shit. His attempt to make the interior of the White House golden is a gaudy disaster. He may be an expert builder, but he is a tacky interior decorator.

 The Oval Office looks like the reception area of a brothel; I would not be surprised if Trump has one red button to request a Coke and another to request a blond escort.

Trump has added a bunch of golden detailing to the walls, including a gold eagle. A photograph taken of Trump during a White House cabinet meeting depicts him sitting on a regal chair with his head aligned with the eagle’s wings in just the right position to make it appear as if he has horns.

If a photograph of Obama taken when he was president made him appear as if he had horns, evangelicals would have reviled him as the antichrist. They would have conceded that he was not born in Kenya, but in hell.

But I have not heard any evangelicals express an apprehension that the devilish image may be a sign that their idol might be the antichrist. I guess if evangelicals are not bothered by Trump’s pedophilia, serial adultery, sexual assaults, fascism, business fraud, racism, homophobia, and all-around despicable behavior, they are not going to be bothered by horns growing out of his skull.

White Evangelicals Brand Kamala Harris a ‘Jezebel’

Ever since Kamala Harris became the Democratic presidential nominee, white evangelical leaders have thundered from the pulpit that she’s a Jezebel who’s in league with the devil. With the election less than a month away, they have doubled down on their vile religious rhetoric, painting her as an emissary of the devil.

“Jezebel” is the go-to word for evangelicals for any woman who is confident in her sexuality, embraces her inherent strength, doesn’t reflexively defer to men, especially if she is a liberal woman of color.

Harris is white evangelicals’ worst nightmare: a female presidential candidate with the experience, wisdom, courage and potential to become a great president.

They’re cognizant that Trump is no match for her intellectually or ethically, and so they try to build up their authoritarian monster by demonizing Harris.

They are oblivious to the irony that it’s Trump who is evil incarnate, and that he’s the male equivalent of a Jezebel.

I’m convinced that the spirt of secularism, democracy and truth will prevail over the spirit of Jezebel that is alive and well in Trump’s Republican Party.

Joe Biden Redecorated Oval Office

When a new president moves into the White House, one of his first actions is to decorate the Oval Office in a way that the aesthetics reflect his views and passions.

It’s no surprise that Joe Biden, who appointed the most diverse and inclusive cabinet in history, ditched the portrait of former president Andrew Jackson, who was acknowledged by historians as the most racist president in history before Donald Trump assumed office.

The presidential office now features Abraham Lincoln who emancipated the slaves and Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was president during the depths of the Great Depression and the horrors of World War II.

A bust of labor leader, community activist and Latino icon Cesar Chavez adorns the Oval Office, needless to say the immigrant-hating Trump doesn’t know Cesar Chavez from Cesar Romero from Little Caesars Pizza.

Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel, so it was no surprise that Trump’s Oval Office was festooned with American flags. The military flags displayed during the Trump presidency have been replaced by a solitary American flag.

Biden has included a moon rock, of all things, among the new decorations, as a reminder that we can accomplish the seemingly impossible, such as landing a man on the moon. A rock from Uranus would have been a perfect fit for Trump’s Oval Office.

The Oval Office is looking so much better, and so are the prospects for peace, racial equality and democracy during the Biden administration.

Trump Brags (Lies) About Attracting Huge Crowds in Coronavirus Epicenters

My visits last week to Texas and Frorida had massive numbers of cheering people gathered along the roads and highways, thousands and thousands, even bigger (by far) than the crowds of 2016. Saw no Biden supporters, and yet some in the Fake News said it was an equal number. Sad!

This is a typical Trump tweet in that it contains typos, lies, and an obsession with numbers.

You’d think the stable genius wouldn’t misspell “Florida” a swing state that he desperately needs to win.

It’s a blatant lie that there were massive numbers of cheering people gathered along the roads and highways when he visited Texas and Florida. Last week Trump held a campaign rally in Tampa, Florida that had a disappointing turnout. After the Tulsa debacle, Trump should realize that in a pandemic his supporters, many of whom are senior citizens, aren’t going to show up for his rallies in the same numbers as in 2016.

Trump shouldn’t be bragging, or should is say lying, about his campaign stops in Texas and Florida attracting massive numbers of cheering people. These two states have set new records for coronavirus deaths over the past few days, if anything he should be encouraging the residents of these two states to avoid crowds.

Trump points out that he saw no Biden supporters, which begs the question: why the holy hell would Biden supporters show up at a MAGA rally?

This tweet just emphasizes the fact that Trump is a demented lying piece of shit, and it’s high time to kick him to the curb.
