Damn Evangelicals and Their Gospel of Donald Trump

Trump

“For the first time, a biennial survey has found that most Evangelical Christians in the United States believe that worshiping alone or only with one’s family can be a valid substitute for going to church.”

Christian Post

“Study to show thyself approved to God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2Timothy 2:15

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:25

Roman Catholics look to the Pope as the final arbiter for doctrinal matters and evangelicals look to the Bible as the supreme authority.

Scripture teaches that believers should study the Bible to divine God’s will in all matters and that they should not forsake meeting together.

But since the advent of their new messiah, Donald Trump, evangelicals have strayed away from the Bible and the local church, and instead they find truth in fringe conspiracy-themed web sites and seek direction from internet-based prophets who preach the Gospel according to Donald Trump.

As a consequence, evangelicals no longer preach the Gospel that Jesus Saves, but the execrable message that Donald Trump will make America great by destroying liberal democracy and setting up a white Christian nationalist theocracy.

In a Christian lexicon Trump and his evangelical disciples are an abomination, and in the vernacular Trump and his followers are asshole racists who don’t know shit about democracy or the Bible.
