Like flies feasting on dung, like streetwalkers timidly walking behind their pimp, like piranhas gnawing on dead fish, like vultures circling over carrion, white evangelicals have glommed onto the most despicable thing on god’s creation: the streaming pile of human shit masquerading as a human being, Donald Trump.

Because white evangelicals’ religious beliefs are deeply racist, homophobic, misogynistic, and misanthropic, it is unsurprising that they have glommed onto the sociopathic, fascist, and racist Trump.

Like a leech clinging to a corpulent fool in a stagnant pond, evangelicals have latched onto Trump for survival and remain loyal to him at any cost.

They are spiraling down the toilet with Trump, taking our democracy, liberties, and way of life with them.

Centuries from now, historians may lament that a minority of nihilistic fundamentalists destroyed the greatest democracy on Earth.
