Politicians from mayors to senators to presidential candidates throughout our culturally, racially and sexually diverse country marked Pride Month by issuing proclamations in support of the LGBTQ community, participating in Pride parades or by making speeches.

TheDeSantis War Room Twitter account released a video marking the end of Pride Month Friday featuring footage of Trump at the 2016 Republican National Convention pledging to protect LGBTQ citizens in the wake of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. This blatantly homophobic video blasts Trump for his previous support of the LGBTQ community, the GOP frontrunner has got with the program and now he never fails to mock the transgender community at his MAGA rallies.

The video is so offensive that two of his rival Republican presidential candidates and the Log Cabin Republicans the nation’s largest Republican organization dedicated to representing LGBT conservatives denounced it in no uncertain terms.

Is it any wonder that the largest LGBTQ rights organization in the U.S issued a travel advisory for Florida, warning that newly passed laws and policies pose risks to gay travelers?

As governor DeSantis has turned Florida into a racist and homophobic shithole. Don’t let DeSantis turn America into Florida: vote for the Democratic presidential candidate, even if it turns out to be the senile Biden!
