Trump is in Full Batshit Crazy Mode

Donald Trump has always been a hyperbolic buffoon with a penchant for uttering superlatives and babbling toxic word salads, but now as he seeks to return to the White House, he’s in full batshit crazy mode.

But most Americans don’t realize how far the deep end the Orange Wack Job gone because he posts his inflammatory and incendiary remarks on Truth Social, his niche social media platform, whose core audience is QAnon cultists, white evangelicals, Nazis and assorted rightwing riff-raff.

During his 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns Trump used Twitter to spread his racist, fascist and divisive rhetoric, and then his tweets were amplified by the cable news networks. Trump’s posts on Truth Social reverberate in the MAGA echo chamber, but they don’t always impact society at large.

If average Americans read Trump’s Truth Social posts as faithfully as his supporters he would lose in a landslide. Trump explicitly and enthusiastically advocates violence as a method to silence his critics. He’s promised to execute generals who don’t do his bidding and opined that shoplifters should be shot. He has promised to use the power of the presidency to jail his political opponents including Joe and Hunter Biden.

If Trump returns to power there will be no guardrails, and there will be no one to restrain his authoritarian and fascist impulses. If Trump wins the presidency and the Republicans keep the House and gain control of the Senate, our democracy will devolve into a White Christian Nationalist theocracy.

Trump is a ruthless cognitively-challenged sociopath, and we must do everything within our power to stop him. The stakes couldn’t be higher, democracy itself is on the line.

House Republicans Considering Expunging Trump’s Impeachments! Idiots!

“House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., expressed support Friday for a symbolic resolution to expunge former President Donald Trump’s two impeachments from the House record.”

USA Today

Unless Trump is convicted in any of the pending indictments against him, the first line of his obituary will read: The twice-impeached …

Trump’s impeachments are scarlet letters that are indelibly imprinted in history books, and they can’t be expunged or erased, and they will never be forgotten.

Republican clowns GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., are the ringleaders behind the quixotic effort to expunge both impeachments.

Even if the Republican-controlled House of Representatives is successful in “expunging” Trump’s impeachments the mainstream media, historians, educators and the general public will shake their heads at the pathetic attempt to whitewash history.

Hello! The U.S. Constitution contains no provision for expunging impeachments.

Let’s not forget that Trump was impeached for very good reasons. He was first impeached in 2019 after urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to dig up (create) political dirt on rival Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 presidential campaign — while Trump was withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine. He was impeached a record second time for inciting the January 6 attack on the Capitol.

Trump has been impeached twice and indicted twice, hopefully he will be convicted on multiple felonies and go down in history as the worst president in history.

Trump to Make Speech Tuesday Night After His Arraignment

Trump

Twice-impeached and indicted former President Donald Trump will make a speech in Florida at his Mar-a-Lago club after he’s arraigned in New York on charges related to hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.

If Trump had a modicum of integrity, he would declare that the office of the president of the United States is greater than any individual, and that to preserve the integrity of the office he will end his presidential campaign. He would admit that a presidential candidate indicted for charges related to hush money payments and one likely to also be indicted for the much more serious crimes of obstruction of justice and inciting a riot would be well-advised to hand the baton to better qualified candidates.

But we all know that Trump wouldn’t know integrity if it bit him in his fat ass. Trump will puff his chest and attempt to project an image of strength and defiance; he will use the indictment to grift his supporters once again. Trump’s cult members will donate millions to the billionaire con artist.

Trump’s indictment for the relatively minor crimes stemming from the hush money payments will help him in the Republican primary, but the New York indictment and the more serious indictments that will surely follow will doom him in the general election.
