Evangelical Focus Europe

Most American white evangelicals believe that Russia has a special role to play in the End Times, and they are convinced that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is a prelude to the final battle of Armageddon when Russia faces off against Israel, America and the Muslim countries. Never mind that in reality Russia enjoys a good relationship with Israel.

Then there are the white American evangelicals who have praised the Almighty for Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked and genocidal invasion of Ukraine, believing he is engaged in a crusade against an international cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who have interests in Ukraine.

No rational person believes that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is the sign of the End Times, or that the brutal dictator Putin invaded his neighbor to kill pedophiles. But white evangelicals are science-denying idiots who believe in myths, superstitions and wild conspiracy theories.

But thank God that the leader of the Russian Evangelical Alliance isn’t afraid to speak truth to power and condemn Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Unlike American evangelicals Vlasenko recognizes Putin for what he is: a despot who wants to revive the Soviet Empire.
