“A combined 69 percent of registered voters say they don’t like Trump personally, regardless of their feelings about his policy agenda. A record 50 percent say they dislike him personally and dislike his policies, while another 19 percent say that they dislike him but approve of his policies.

Donald Trump is mean-spirited, vindictive, narcissistic, vulgar, racist, thin-skinned and buffoonish, so it comes as no surprise that according to an NBC?WSJ poll he is more personally disliked than any of his recent predecessors, and half of voters say they’re very uncomfortable with the idea of his re-election.

A record 50 percent say they dislike Trump personally, and no doubt they would be horrified if he joined their church or moved into their neighborhood. But Trump’s base loves him with religious fervor, and even evangelicals who dislike him personally and wouldn’t want him  to join their congregation are perfectly content with him living in the White House, as long as he continues to support their agenda.

White evangelicals have the mindset, though they will never state it explicitly and publicly, that Trump is a vulgar asshole, but he’s their asshole, and they will vote for his reelection because he supports Israel, appoints pro-life Supreme Court justices, and trolls liberals.

Democrats should think twice before they start measuring the White House drapes, and begin assembling a legal team to indict the bastard after he leaves office.

Conservatives hate immigrants, gays and lesbians, progressives and women more than they hate their Messiah’s dementia, vulgarity and narcissism. White evangelicals will flock to the polls to vote for Trump as if Jesus Himself was handing out the ballots, and it’s imperative that Democrats and Independents voted as if their lives depended on it.
