LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING
Love is a multifaceted experience. Love incorporates every aspect of our being.
It satisfies every desire of the human heart. Love is all you need. As has been said many times by lovestruck paramours “Love is a many splendored thing.”
Love begins with a physical attraction. A chemical reaction. The teasing twinkle in her eyes, the sensual sway of her hips, the softness of her skin. We are carnal creatures made in the image of our Creator and love should not be denigrated because it begins with an alluring appeal to our fleshly nature.
The physical charms of a young and nubile maiden may reel you in, but unless there is also an intellectual attraction the relationship will never develop beyond the purely physical realm. True love satisfies both our physical and intellectual cravings. Besides a meeting of the hearts there must also be a melding of the minds.
Love also has a spiritual component. If you are physically compatible and intellectually satisfied with your lover that is still not enough. You must spiritually connect with your beloved. I don’t mean to imply that you must share the same religious affiliation.
I’m referring to a coupling of your souls. Sweethearts who are spiritually attuned to each other can communicate without words. They can speak volumes to each other merely with a gentle caress or a tender glance. This kind of spiritual intimacy is priceless.
Love begins with a physical attraction, and it must be sustained and nurtured with physical ministrations. Don’t ever take your lover for granted. Don’t ever think that you can leave for work without kissing her good-bye. Don’t ever imagine that she doesn’t need an occasional hug or embrace. The little physical touches of affection are just as important or maybe even more so than passionate love making in preserving a relationship.
Falling in love is easy but sustaining that love is hard work. We should periodically examine our relationship with our partner to ensure that we are meeting each others needs. Do you meet her sexual needs? Don’t let your preoccupation with your work or with your hobbies interfere with your physical intimacy.
Are you meeting her intellectual needs? Do you make the time to have long conversations with her? Are you meeting her spiritual needs? Do you still share your dreams with her? Do you ask her what her hopes and aspirations are?
Are you meeting her need for affection. Don’t just tell her that you love her. Kiss her gently. Hold her hands while you are watching television. Caress her lovely face not as a prelude to sex but merely to express your love and devotion.
BY ROBERT PAUL REYES – President Barack Obama has been unable to dispel the rumors that that he wasn`t born in the United States.
It`s much easier for a president to move his agenda forward if the electorate perceives him as an honest individual worthy of respect. Only 58 percent of Americans believe that Obama was born in the US, the president has a very serious credibility problem with the American public.
The rest of Obama’s term is going to be very difficult if he isn’t able to convince the public that he was born in the United States. But it doesn’t seem like the arrogant Obama cares very much what the voters think, he dismisses the concerns of those who doubt the legitimacy of his presidency.
It is incumbent upon Obama to remove all doubts, once and for all, and release his original birth certificate. That`s something that contrary to Obama apologists, he’s yet to do. The original Obama birth certificate with the name of the hospital and the doctor, his or her signature, the infant`s weight, and the national origin of the parents has NEVER been made public. Obama has only released a short-term copy of a “certificate of live birth.”
Obama seems oblivious to the controversy that swirls over his unreleased birth certificate, but the governor of Hawaii has made it his mission to prove that Obama was born in Hawaii.
“Officials in Hawaii have tracked down papers indicating that President Obama was indeed born in their state, according to its new governor.
Gov. Neil Abercrombie, who took office in December, told Honolulu`s Star-Advertiser on Tuesday that `our investigation` indicates there is a recording of his birth.
“It actually exists in the archives, written down,” he said.
The new Democratic head of the state vowed when he took office that he would do his best to end the debate over Obama`s birth, which began in 2008 during the presidential campaign.
“We`ll do what we can as quickly as we can to make it inevitable that only those who wish the President ill, only the ones with a political agenda, will be the ones doing this kind of thing,` Abercrombie told CNN in December. “The President is entitled to the respect of his office and he`s entitled to have his mother and father respected.”

Officials in Hawaii need to track down only one document: The original Obama birth certificate with the name of the hospital and the doctor, his or her signature. How difficult can it be for the governor of Hawaii to track down one document? He can dispatch hundreds of state employees to search for Obama`s birth certificate.
Governor Abercrombie stated `our investigation` indicates there is a recording of his birth.” This is nothing but doublespeak, there either is or isn`t a birth certificate. What the hell does Abercrombie mean by using the phrase “our investigation indicates”?
President Obama is entitled to the respect of his office, but he hasn`t earned that respect. The only way Obama can earn that respect is by proving he`s actually qualified to be the President of the United States.
Abercrombie has utterly failed in his mission to prove that Obama was born in the United States. To sate that “officials have tracked down papers indicating that President Obama was indeed born in Hawaii” falls woefully short of proving that Obama is a citizen of the United States. To claim that “our investigation `indicates there is a recording of his birth” doesn`t mean Jack.
Kanye West vs Lindsay Lohan for President in 2020
Published:
“Lindsay Lohan, an actress whose career has been eclipsed in recent years because of her brushes with the law and battle with substance abuse, says she is considering running for U.S. president.”
UPI
If a reality TV celebrity with wispy hair, an incontinent mouth, and no political experience can run for president, then who`s going to deny Lohan and West the same opportunity?
Rapper Kanye West announced during this summer`s MTV Music Awards ceremony that he plans to run for president in 2020.
Can you imagine a debate between Lohan and West in 2010? Kanye would grab the moderator`s microphone, and castigate him for asking him difficult questions. The lovely Lohan would suffer an “accidental” wardrobe malfunction to divert attention from West. The ratings would be through the roof, and the world-famous celebrities would inspire millions of young people to get involved in the political process. Of course mature adults would move to Canada or commit suicide.
I predict LiLo would win hands down, and West would complain that he lost because America hates blacks.
Kanye, America loves blacks, especially famous black rappers, but you would lose because we don`t want the White House turned into a freak show, which is exactly what would happen if Caitlyn Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan set up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Mel’s Bloody Passion
posted March 3, 2004
“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” Hebrews 9:22
According to fundamentalist Christian doctrine without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins (What can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus.) Hollywood producers have slightly revised this dictum: Without the shedding of blood there is no box office gold.
Blood sells. Blood entices. Blood enthralls. Blood beckons. Blood seduces. Commuters turn their necks to ogle a bloody traffic accident and they hand over their hard earned dollars to be mesmerized by a bloody movie.
Movie trailers feature car crashes, explosions, fisticuffs, gun fights and buckets of blood. Ever seen a coming attraction that featured intelligent and nuanced dialogue? Even the trailer for “My dinner with Andre” probably depicted Andre and his dinner companion coming to bloody blows after disagreeing on what to order for dinner.
Mel Gibson the star of the bloody Lethal Weapon franchise and the director of the even bloodier Braveheart knows that celluloid that is not drenched in blood will not appeal to the masses.
The Catholic thespian’s “The Passion of the Christ” is saturated in blood. This bloody epic is not an exercise in filmmaking, but an unrelenting exhibition of bloodletting. It should be screened in a slaughterhouse and not in your friendly neighborhood multiplex.
The leading star in Gibson’s production is not Jesus, but blood. It should have received top billing. The crimson fluid is everywhere. It dribbles, it oozes, it trickles, it splatters, it permeates every frame. It’s on the faces, arms, and legs of almost every character. In fact, one of the few characters who is blood free is the androgynous looking Satan. The Prince of Darkness seems to be the only one that is not fascinated by blood.
Judas was so stricken with remorse for betraying Jesus that he returned the thirty pieces of silver and killed himself. I can only hope that Gibson will be so stricken with pangs of guilt that he will donate his blood money to a worthwhile charity.
It’s ironic that evangelicals who are quick to denounce Hollywood blood and gore have embraced a cinematic enterprise whose violence is pornographic, unrelenting and gratuitous. It’s a “Christian” picture they reason, so let’s load up the minivan and take the kids to see a bloody epos that would make the Marquis de Sade cringe in horror.
Oh, but soldiers of the cross explain, Mel’s labor of love was inherently bloody because he wanted to show an unbelieving world the tremendous sacrifice that Christ made. The Australian hunk was only “keeping it real.” That’s the same excuse that producers of slasher flicks make, “Hey, I made a motion picture based on a real crime, I had to show the villain slice a young girl in half with an electric chainsaw to keep it authentic.”
Gibson’s bloody extravaganza should have had more flashbacks to present a more rounded picture of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. The most influential individual in world history was much more than just a bloody punching bag, he was a caring social worker, a profound teacher, an eloquent orator, a courageous revolutionary and a man who treasured peace and harmony. The Jesus of the Gospels would have been sickened by Gibson’s snuff film.
The crazy idea that “The Passion” is a “Christian” film and thereby viewing it is a spiritually uplifting experience is very horrifying. The viewing of Gibson’s bloody vision is a profoundly disturbing, brutalizing, and soul-damaging experience. I left the theater feeling like I had just survived a 12-round bloody brawl with Mike Tyson.
Gibson’s belief that blood has cleansing properties is not that much different from bin Ladin’s belief that making the Great Satan bleed is pleasing to Allah. True spirituality is not an Islamic martyr blowing himself and his victims up in an orgy of blood or a Christian fanatic with blood dripping from his self-inflicted stigmata; true spirituality is feeding the poor, ministering to the sick, standing up for the disenfranchised and sheltering the homeless.
I’m repulsed and sickened by Hollywood producers, Christian preachers and Islamic terrorists who make a fetish out of blood. know that I’m a voice crying in the wilderness; we live in a society that is immersed in blood. When TV news producers live by the motto, “If it bleeds it leads,” I know that I am going against the grain of American culture. “The Passion of the Christ made over a 100 million dollars in its first week, but if this essay dissuades even one person from watching this pornographic travesty I will be content.
If you want to know what it’s like to watch “The Passion of the Christ,” save yourself nine bucks, fill your bathtub with water, add some red dye and totally immerse yourself. If you can stay underwater for more than two minutes, that’s longer than the average person can watch Gibson’s bloody spectacle without wanting to throw up.
Donald Trump and Mother Teresa: Two Peas in a Pod
Cecil the Lion: Icon, Celebrity, Myth, Savior
You can now add Cecil to the list of celebrities whose fame is so universal, that no last name is needed.
Before his untimely and savage death Cecil the Lion was a beloved tourist attraction and the subject of research by academics from Oxford University, but the tragic circumstance of his death has propelled him to worldwide fame.
Cecil`s fame was red hot for about a week: He was a trending topic on social media sites, the subject of sermons and lectures, and the leading story on the evening news.
Weeks later he is still very much on our minds: Artists have commemorated the majestic beast in murals, paintings and sculptures, writers have written essays praising him, and parents tell their children tales about the now mythical creature. Cecil the Lion the movie and Cecil the Lion the play are surely in the works.
Cecil the lion killed by a nefarious dentist from Minnesota in a cowardly manner, just so he could add the lion`s head to his trophy collection, leaving Cecil`s cubs at the mercy of rival lions eager to take over his pride. This is an epic tragedy that would have inspired Shakespeare to write plays, and Mozart to write symphonies, so don`t begrudge me for my Cecil the Lion essays.
I will use my meager talent to keep the memory of Cecil the Lion alive, and I will be relentless in demanding that Walter Palmer, the killer dentist be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Black Lives Matter Sowing Discord, They Will Reap the Whirlwind
The catalyst for the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement was outrage over the deaths of young black men like Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Freddie Gray at the hands of the police.
Instead of addressing the myriad pathologies in the black community that give birth to young men who engage in violent behavior so casually and indiscriminately, they engage in self-defeating behavior like shouting racist slogans, and showering peace officers with rocks and bottles.
In the minds of most Americans BLM is synonymous with BlackThugLives Matter. The BLM activists vociferously protest when a black criminal like Michael Brown is killed when he provokes a confrontation with a police officer, but they`re mute when a law-abiding black professional encounters racism, or is unjustly treated by the police.
The BLM activists aren`t a disciplined organization with a codified set of principles and objectives, they`re a flash mob interested only throwing tantrums, deepening racial divisions, and making a nuisance of themselves.
As a Latino I`m a strong believer in civil rights, but I will not make common cause with thugs and vandals. I`ll support civil rights organizations like the NAACP, but BLM is anathema to anyone who believes in civil discourse and using the political process to affect social change.
Martin Luther King must be rolling in his grave at the sad spectacle of a violent and undisciplined mob of young blacks engaging in racist and divisive tactics in the name of civil rights.
Bill Cosby’s Fall From Civil Rights Icon to Thug Who Preys on White Women
Bill Cosby occupied a prominent place in the pantheon of Civil Rights heroes. Cosby got his start in show business as a stand-up comic, unlike his African American contemporaries like Red Foxx, he eschewed comedy based on sexual situations and refrained from uttering profanity.
Cosby carried the battle for racial equality and civil rights into the nation`s living rooms. In 1965 Cosby broke the color line, becoming the first black actor to star in a drama series in “I Spy. ”
Cosby is best remembered as Dr. Cliff Huxtable in the beloved sit-com “The Cosby Show”, he was a father figure who appealed to everyone: Black, white or brown.
Bill Cosby was indistinguishable from his sit-com persona, and that made him a valuable pitchman for products. How could you not buy Jell-O for your children when it was endorsed by the lovable and trustworthy Cosby?
Cosby used his celebrity to speak out against the pathologies in his own community, he became a conservative`s darling by chastising young blacks to pull their pants up and pull themselves up by their own bootstraps.
Cosby was the epitome of a family-friendly entertainer; he earned a fortune estimated at close to a billion portraying himself as the embodiment of conservative values.
Now we know that Cosby is an imposter, a fraud, the antithesis of family values. A writer who subscribes to a white power ideology could not have created a black character more morally reprehensible than the real-life Bill Cosby.
The real Cosby has been exposed, and he is a monster. He preyed on impressionable, beautiful white women, most of whom aspired to be actresses. He pretended to take an interest in their careers, lured them to his home or hotel, drugged them and then sexually assaulted them.
Cosby has demolished his legacy as a civil rights pioneer, instead of being remembered as an actor who promoted racial harmony by creating a beloved sit-com that showcased affluent African American characters in a positive light, he will forever be known as a black thug who caused racial division by raping dozens of white women.
Outrage: Obama Declares “Muslims Built the Fabric of This Country”
“On Sunday, President Obama and First Lady Michelle released a statement thanking Muslim Americans for their many “achievements and contributions ” to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.`
The comments were made to mark the celebration of Eid-al-Fitr, a time of spiritual renewal for Muslims which comes at the end of the month-long fast of Ramadan. The Obamas said in their statement that Eid celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity ” and welcomed their commitment to giving back to their communities.”
Breitbart.Com
As a fervent believer in the separation of church and state, I have criticized presidents (Republicans and Democrats) for invoking the Christian deity during speeches and official proclamations.
A president of a secular democracy shouldn`t commemorate or celebrate a religious holiday; lovers of the constitution (liberals and conservatives) should join me in blasting Obama for celebrating a Muslim holiday.
Obama never misses an opportunity to pander to Muslims, it`s no wonder that many Americans think Obama (who`s probably an atheist) is a Muslim.
With all due respect stating that Muslim Americans have made contributions to the very fabric of our nation is pure bull crap. Islam`s blood-soaked theology is the very antitheses of the values of our democracy.
Islamic countries are at jihad with America, Israel and the West, and the best way that American Muslims can demonstrate their patriotism is by condemning the misogyny, terrorism, homophobia, and anti-intellectualism of Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya (oh hell just include every damn Muslim nation on Earth.)
I can`t wait until Barack Hussein Obama retires to his homeland of Kenya.

Is It Sexist to Call Sarah Palin a Bimbo
Barack Obama and John McCain: The Difference in Style Couldn’t be Greater
After a long and bitter Democratic race, Sen. Barack Obama has finally clinched the nomination, and now it`s on to the general election.
I`ve written scores of essays delineating the vast policy differences between Barack Obama and John McCain. It`s been generations since which had such a clear choice: Obama with his message of hope and change, and McCain with his stubborn allegiance to the failed Bush foreign and domestic agendas.
The difference in style between the two presidential hopefuls is also striking; forgive me for my superficiality but today I will briefly note the stylistic differences between these two gentleman.
A politician`s natural habitat is the stage, a candidate who doesn`t feel at home speaking before thousands is doomed.
On the stage Obama is a rock star, he strides across the platform, basking in the adulation of tens of thousands. With his lean physique and GQ attire he makes an impressive figure, capturing the hearts of women and the admiration of men.
On the stage McCain is a Karaoke singer, he takes tentative little old man steps as he ambles across the platform, praying the few souls in the audience won`t lose interest in his stump speech. With his frumpy clothes and doddering gait, everyone wants to help him back to his seat after he is finished babbling.
Obama is perhaps the most eloquent politician of our generation, he could read a text of the IRS tax law and make it sound riveting.
McCain`s speech is difficult to understand, you wonder if he had a “Senior Moment” and put a marble in his mouth thinking it was a mint. He begins almost every discourse with the tiresome words: My friends. I have never had a friend address me as “my friend”, it`s used car salesman, preachers, lawyers, morticians and other scumbags who`ve referred to me in that patronizing manner. Isn`t there one handler with the guts to tell McCain to can the “my friends” shtick?
With his “one foot in the grave” appearance, McCain`s only hope of winning the general election is choosing Brad Pitt as his running-mate.
Barack Obama and the Race Card
It seems like eons ago that pundits and politicians were asking: Is Sen. Barack Obama black enough? That well educated people, including prominent members of the black intelligentsia, were posing this query shows how far we still need to go to expunge racism from our society.
Obama is an articulate and intelligent gentleman, with an impressive resume: Graduate of Harvard Law School, community organizer, bestselling author, Grammy Award winner for Best Spoken Word Album, member of the Illinois State Senate, United States Senator and candidate for President of the United States of America.
Did Obama need to let his pants drop down to his knees and speak in Ebonics before he could be accepted as a bonafide African American?
Before a single vote was cast, when Sen. Hillary Clinton had a double digit lead in the national polls, most of the Black establishment was solidly behind the former First Lady. Unfortunately, too many of the older black leaders still have the mindset that only a white politician has the gravitas to advance the cause of civil rights. These dinosaurs, like Rep. Charlie Rangel, don’t represent the best interests of their black constituents.
But when the Hillary Clinton surrogates injected race into the campaign, African Americans realized that Obama was indeed one of their own. Here was an incredibly gifted leader who was being described by his race and not by his myriad talents.
Thanks to the race card played by Bill Clinton, Obama is now garnering an overwhelming majority of the black vote. But it’s not just African Americans that are voting for Obama, the senator from Illinois is trouncing Hillary is almost every imaginable demographic.
I hope that Bill Clinton is never again referred to as “the first African American president”, a desperate race-baiting politician doesn’t deserve that title.
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, like Charles Rangel and John Lewis, who automatically backed Hillary Clinton last year, before they were even familiar with Obama’s platform, should pay a political price for their timidity and subservience. Their constituents should send a strong message, and not reelect them to Congress.
I’m not saying that a black politician should automatically vote for a black candidate. But Rangel announced his support for Hillary last year, because at that time she seemed like the inevitable Democratic nominee.
I voted for Barack Obama in the Virginia primary, because he is the most qualified and inspirational candidate. I didn’t consider his race, I looked only at his sterling achievements in the Illinois State Senate and the US Senate.
I can’t wait until Sen. Barack Obama is inaugurated as the next president of the United States. He is by far the most qualified candidate, who just happens to be black.
