Thousands Who Identify as Dogs Meet in Germany! Bitch, Please!

“An estimated 1,000 people who prefer to be recognized as not humans, but canines, organized a gathering at the Berlin Potsamer Platz railroad station in Germany, communicating only by howling or barking at one another.”

The New York Post

Folks may have a bone to pick for pointing out that this story illustrates that the world has gone to the dogs, but in my defense this story is custom-made for bad puns.

People have a right to identify as dogs, cats, monkeys or goldfish, but don’t expect me to pander to their delusions by greeting them with a “who’s a good boy?”

A pack of weirdos who think they are canines gathering at a railroad station and communicating by howling or barking at one another is patently absurd, but it’s also deeply offensive. Call me a misanthrope but I believe that pooches are superior to human beings, doggies could teach us a thing or two about loyalty, bravery and possessing a good-natured spirit.

Evangelicals the likes of Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Franklin Graham and Lauen Boebert think they will go to heaven because they’ve accepted Jesus as their Savior. But if these sanctimonious assholes really end up in heaven, and if there are no puppies in paradise, I’d rather spend eternity in hell with Satan and the hounds of hell. Heaven without dogs is hell. Period. End of story.

These cretins are guilty of disturbing the peace, somebody should call animal control and have them muzzled, and for good measure spayed and neutered.

German Magazine Portrays Donald Trump Giving Nazi Salute

“A German magazine has portrayed President Donald Trump giving a Nazi salute on its latest front page.

Stern magazine mocked up the image of Trump performing the gesture while draped in the American flag for the cover of its Aug. 24 issue.

The magazine`s cover is the latest in a line of provocative anti-Trump front pages to appear since the president failed to fully condemn this month`s violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.”

Huffington Post

If anyone can recognize the dangers of Nazi philosophy taking root in a democracy it`s the Germans, and they are appalled at Donald Trump`s embrace of White Nationalism.

Americans are aware that Trump`s toxic racism is doing incalculable harm to our democracy, but I don`t think most of us realize how much harm he`s doing to America`s reputation and standing in the world.

Stern`s cover is spot on, Trump drapes himself in patriotism and American supremacy while winking at the violent antics of White Nationalists. Nazi ideology is the antithesis of democracy, and it`s incumbent on the president to denounce it in no uncertain terms.

If America is to survive as a democracy we must hate Nazism as much as the Germans, and that means impeaching our racist president.

Angela Merkel’s Bewilderment at the Entity Known as Donald Trump

“Angela Merkel`s facial expressions illustrate global bewilderment at Trump.”

Slate.com

As a writer I value words over photographs and videos, but a picture is worth a thousand words and these photos of Chancellor Angela Merkel`s facial expressions perfectly encapsulate the world`s bewilderment at Donald Trump.

I could write a 1,000 word thesis on the rise of Donald Trump as evidence that we live in a simulated reality, and that the God/Programmer has a really wicked sense of humor.

But I will spare myself hours of writing and editing, and simply implore you to click the link at the bottom of this page. Angela Merkel is every citizen of the world.
